I think it was the official SnC Teamspeak server.

Striker, Saturday is better. Think people in the US might still be at work on a friday at that time.

Oh, I think I get it now. If the texture in the middle was a door that somehow rolls out of the way, it would visually make more sense because the markings look like the door rotated into its place rather than slid there. Right?

I can see the image and I still don't understanding it. You have a flat texture, you slap it on the sides of the cylinder. You make a polar texture... for the caps? Or what do you do with it? I don't really get it.

I was REALLY good at CSGO the first time I played it. Then I quit for a few months, and absolutely sucked, and still do.

But still, I'm all for it.

WON HL has multiplayer too. And in fact, I played it multiple times, while I never once managed to get any Steam variant to connect to something that wasn't a dedicated server.

Apparently the screen texture in the last shot doesn't cast light... I'll have to change that to something else, or make a new one. :P
How about an invisible texlight? That way you don't even need to mess with the original texture.

Perhaps you should mark where in the stairwell the level change takes place so people can map around it.

Kachito, I'm pretty sure there was a request for something like that some time ago. That would be great.

I think I have a suggestion.
When at the game configurations tab, there's an "add new" and a "remove" button, may I suggest have a "copy" button? In case someone wants to create a new one that copies all the settings from another one without copying everything manually.

You should have done that for the Rooms project. Technically you still can, seeing as it never was officially closed...

I have looked at the base map and I believe I have no questions right now.

Actually, yes. I have two, although not directly related to what *I* have to do.
Will the elevator ever be usable, or am I safe throwing an "out of service" sign on the door? (also it doesn't have a button, should I add my own?)
Will there be an outside space on the ground floor? As in, if the player can stand on the sidewalk/plaza/whatever and look up and see how tall it is.
Also, mildly relevant

Urby, MCF makes more sense than Half-Life 2. You should totally do it.

I too am guilty of this. Just one, though.

Mod: (unnamed)
Details: Set in Black Mesa, Gordon Freeman was to dig up an old, decomissioned lab dedicated to time travel, then travel back in time to fix the time machine, to be able to travel back in time to fix the time machine. A joint project with Tetsuo. I don't remember the details but that's about it. More of a map pack than a mod, no custom content was planned.
Reason for cancelling: We were too busy at the time and it kind of died out. We had the story but didn't really have a solid plan, and we hadn't done more than a map each or so. I think one of us lost the files in a hard drive crash or something and that gave it the final blow. In retrospect, maybe I'd revive it sometime, if Tetsuo shares the feeling. pokes Tetsuo

I'd normally do that by making both groups a func_illusionary and maybe then wrap it in a clip brush, so I'm not entirely sure of what would be the benefit over my method.

So it's kind of a non-entity func_illusionary? Or at least, that's what I thought "passable" used to mean.

a button on the interface or something that when pressed, brings all the vertices in the map to the nearest grid point
It's been mentioned. Let me up that: If there is a selection, do it only to the selected brushes.

Either I'm doing the acres to square metres conversion wrong, or that lot is bigger than 4 acres. Or you got just enough space to build a toolshed and a one-car garage.

If you saved the map file but it doesn't change after compile, then it didn't compile and you're looking at the previous compiled version. Check the compile logs for errors.

There's no func_detail in goldsource, so it'll have to be func_wall (or func_illusionary with a simple square-section clip brush around it).
anyway better not map your school u can get arrested ^^
I don't think such a thing would be possible unless he lived in North Korea or something.
