Actaully Im in college right now and I just go on between classes and homework. Im actaully surprised sometimes at the amount of spare time I have sometimes. I would be bored out of my mind if I didnt have my computer here with me.

How reliable is your site's host? Monthly bandwidth? Disk space? If you run out of bandwidth people arent gonna like that no one can get their maps. And hopefully youre getting more than 25MB of disk space. And dont forget download speeds. If its anything like Freewebs people arent gonna use it.

Just out of curiosity, how large can you make a texture? I know the defualt max size is 256x256 but I've gone beyond that. Just how far could you go?

I got the same problem but its probly cause I overclocked my graphics card too far and burned something out.

Well you could just make an identical room with everything turned upside down. Thats probly what they did. And that gives me an idea
I was once thinking of a map like that where you would teleport and it would put you on the ceiling or the walls and you could walk around on them. Needless to say, that would have taken some insane amount of scripting.

The 9600 is the best card they make for this model of laptop (Dell Inspiron 8500).
Despite what they say, you actually can upgrade the video card in some laptops.

Well some of use cant afford that kind of stuff now can we? Im just glad I can actaully play it. And its not that laggy, even at 15 fps. And it only goes that low during intense combat with lots of explosions and all that. I actually get about 35 fps on Water Hazard while racing around on the fanboat.
And on 3D Mark 2001SE I got 5886 3D Marks after overclocking. Thats on a 32MB 4x AGP card. Odd how dandylions card got less than mine :

Ughh I hate when Im naked in my dreams
My dreams are always incredibly realistic and detailed. They are always 3D and colored, although sometimes they can have that 'aged film' look or be oversaturated with color. The physics in my dreams are way better than HL2. The was one dream I had where I saw a waterfall in slow and I could see the water break up into little drops and splash when they hit the bottom. It was so detailed and realistic. And the mind can render stuff like that instantaneosly. It would take a computer weeks to render something that detailed.
And I have had a few dreams where what I dreamt about came true. Like when I was 8, I had a dream and my friend was crying. A few days later my friend burns his finger with a hot glue gun and crys like a little girl . I also remember having a dream about my dog while on vacation. It was a sad dream and I felt bad when when I woke up. Turns out he died while we away.
Its very strange how our minds work and I believe there is much more to the mind than what we percieve.

I was wondering if there was a way to create that UV light effect where it make everything white glow blue. I know how good the lighting can be in Source but did Valve consider effects like this?
Spec them. If their aim jumps around between players or seems very jerky they may be using an aimbot. And if they run around wildly just shooting and actually hitting people then most likely they are hacking.

Theres no such thing as a 1337 h4x0r. Just someone who got lucky and found a good hacking program. Or maybe theyre a good programer, but then they would be a 1337 programmer. The only way someone could be 1337 at hacking is if they could hack into some secret government database or something
I used them on a hacking server against other hackers but thats more of who has the best h4x and not much to do with skill at all. Got old pretty fast. I even pirated some h4x, modified them and released them as my own.

I used to have a recurring nightmare about the exhaust hoses you find on clothes dryers. They would come out of the wall and slither down like a snake. I would scream and hold out my hand and they would fly at it and swallow my arm. I had these dreams from when I was 3 years til 5 years old. I must have had that dream like 50 times. I was afraid to go to sleep during that time. I still find myself putting my hands under something when I sleep. But I harldy ever have nightmares anymore.
