B). I've heard of sound problems because of the frequency, because of the length, and amongst other problems. Check and make sure you didn't leave anything easily overlooked out of the code (a simple punctuation can cause problems). Also make sure everything with your sound is right.
I'm no coder, but I know some bits, and until someone with more coding knowledge comes along... yeah.

@rimmy OUCH. the rocket + lazur turrets are bad enough, but a sentry firing turret?
actually thats what I hate... I'd rather games use at least half-decent graphics still, but focus more on gameplay. Grand Theft Auto 3 through Vice City Stories have SHIT graphics, but the gameplay is very original, non-linear, and fun for weeks.
just replace the model in sounds in the mod's folder. (Make sure they use the same names as the original though!)

or if TFC can use game_player_equip, you could add your own to the FGD! In any case, you could try adding your own game_player_equip and see if it works.
Binding the RMB to switch to your grenade and then attack, and maybe then have it switch back to previous weapon.
from hole to hole? if you make them disappear at a nearby destination when they exit the hole, you can limit the func_train usage alot. in fact, for ever straight line, you could probably use a single func_train
or put them in the background so it doesn't look bad (as you're only going to see one side of it anyways).
Also make sure that you uncheck the option that makes it open when you touch it. =)

Hmm, I've never had a lava lamp, but it would be nice. No battery replacement, but a bit more dangerous. Funky colors, but not static yellow/white colored light... but, I'd have to say lava lamp. (Although if i had one in my room, I'd probably tip it and break it within a week, that's my luck)

When I tried to start Steam today (just 15 minutes ago), I came across a problem. I saw no "Logging in..." box. I opened task manager, and I saw Steam was running. So I double-clicked a game shortcut from my desktop. Nothing. I deleted ClientRegistry.blob (blob... =D) and tried again. Steam popped up with the "Updating" box and updated... hope restored, just to crash a burn. From there, once it finished, nothing happened. I restarted and tried again... still nothing.
