I'm assuming he's referring to the website's content information, which I guess will act as the key words for Google. But it still does not hurt to have plenty of meta data key words for the other search engines that do use them.

Good Search Engine Optimization for your website means your website will be found listed high up on the search engines.
Let me give you an example pertaining to your case:
Let's say that a potential customer looking to buy a ceramic teapot, visits a search engine, like for an example Google, types in the key words "ceramic teapot" on Google's search text box. After pressing the search button, Google will return the search results just like these:

Now, if you look at your website's HTML source code, at the top there should be a section called the "head" ( <head></head> ). In the head section are what are called the "Meta Tags". One of these meta tags will have listed the "Key Words". The key words are pretty much the words or phrases that describe what your website is all about.
So in your website's case, the meta tag key words will be words like teapot, ceramics, pottery, Texas....and the list goes on, I'm sure you get the idea. Now, you see all those websites listed on Google's search result listed above? If you were to check their meta tag key words, they will the key words "ceramic teapot" on them. Well, if your website has those key words too, then your site will also show up on Google's search results for those particular search words.
That link you gave earlier for that oestreichpottery.com website, let's take a look at their meta tags as a working example. This is a copy & paste of their head section:

Don't forget also, if you build the site from the ground up, you will need to apply some proper Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Have you tried selling your stuff on eBay? Depending on what your startup budget is, you can open a basic store front inside eBay for $15.95 a month. Of course, when selling on eBay you have to be careful on what and how you list the items. If you list a lot of items and they don't sell, you are still stuck with eBay's insertion fees, regardless if you sold them or not.
Now, there's also this other online auction site that's just like eBay called Wigix. It might not have eBay's huge visitor traffic, but they still have a respectable amount of visitors. I'm gonna have to side with TheGrimReafer on this one. This idea of "cloud computing" thing might look pretty on paper, but in reality,....I rather have all my data with me, on my hard drive, and not on some collection of servers which I have no control over. And besides, I don't trust Google that much, they have become way to big and dominant of late. And you know what they say about power.....

Don't take this the wrong way zeeba-G, but what's wrong with just visiting your local used car dealer? Or even checking the classified ads section of your local newspaper? Well hlife_hotdog, if you have not prepared a resume yet, it won't hurt you if you do so as soon as possible. To start, it does not have to be a fancy one, the basics will do for now. I've tried searching for a defrag program that can defrag on startup, or something like that, but no luck.Well, I don't know about other defrag programs, but I do know that Windows built in "Disk Defragmenter" can be setup to start defragging on startup.
Just to be on the safe side, make sure you have Defraggler's settings set on defragging the whole drive, and not just some folders/files/sectors.
Question: How many partitions do you have making up your C: drive? I might be wrong on this, but if you have more than one partition on your C: drive, then it might be that only one of the partitions is getting defragged and the other is not, which might explain why only about half of your hard drive is getting defragged.

I don't think psilous is asking for somebody to give him a free video card (or monitor?), this is more of a case of a "translation-typo" snafu. It's very obvious English is not is native language and knows hardly any of it. My guess is, he's relying on some type of online translation gimmick, like for an example Google's translation site, which is not very good at translating the right way. I see this all the time when ever I troll some of the bigger, "international" forum boards.

Among these other non-Valve 3D development programs that have been mentioned before, there is one in particular that I have seen being mention 2 or 3 times in some form or other on TWHL: Unity 3D. Now, for those of you here that are acquainted with Unity 3D, know very well that their development suite is not free, it costs a lot of money. Well, that's no longer the case.
The package that was called "Unity Indie" and now is called simply "Unity", will be completely free for developers of virtual worlds and games, which by the way has until now been sold for $199.00, but not any more. Again, it's FREE now! Unity is a set of browser plug-in and toolkit to make games and virtual worlds.
For modelers, Unity can read .FBX, .dae (Collada), .3DS, .dxf and .obj files. You can go to Unity's site and download your copy of Unity and start developing virtual worlds and games with it for free.

I agree. That's why I suggested the remotely hosted CGI scripts option, it's good for those that do not know how to set up server side scripts or modules. But if your web host offers a password protected directory, then take advantage of it, since it could also be using .htaccess the way Penguinboy suggested. Client side scripts like JavaScript and DHTML does have it's uses, but there are certain jobs that should be left to server side apps like PHP, ASP, CGI, and others like them.

I was going to mention about using some sort of "remotely hosted" CGI script service where all you have to do, is to just simply copy and paste a simple JavaScript snippet on to your webpage. I tried your page with Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome. It does not work on all 3 browsers. Question: What is suppose to happen if somebody were to put the wrong password in? When I put a random word, I get nothing, no pop-up warning or re-direct page about inputting the wrong password. Is it suppose to be this way?
That said;I was using Firefox at the moment while testing Windows 7 on my brother's laptop, but Firefox kept acting up, it froze a lot. So I switch to IE. Oh, if you don't believe me, look it up, it seems a lot of people are having issues with Firefox working with Windows 7 on a few things.
