Like many others it seems, I recently bought Fallout 3 and New Vegas after playing about an hour of a... pirated copy of New Vegas. Seriously, this is the first torrent of a game I've downloaded and I did it solely because neither games have demos which brings up another topic. More games should have demos. Anyway I haven't played New Vegas since that torrent because I wanted to play 3 first as it came before New Vegas and people have told me it was better. I love the games and would definitely recommend them.

Well, I love the game. It scored 91 on metacritic so apparently so did a lot of others. You are entitled to your opinion though, I'm sure every game has people that didn't enjoy it. In fact one of my friends said HL1 was bad...(he's wrong)

Yes, I was about to correct myself on the Lost Coast facts but my edit was blocked, but I'm not sure if Lost Coast was even leaked, was it?
Also yes, I hate people who call you a hacker with no reason but sometimes the people are hacking and it's oblivious. Like one of the most common TF2 hacks I've seen is one engineer setting up 15 sentries, or in CoD's case people flying around taking entire magazines worth of ammo. I've been accused of hacking my fair share of times and it annoys me too.

Dimbark, the HL2 Beta leak was leaked by a hacker, but first of all that's not the type of hacker this is about and second of all, Lost Coast was a tech demo Valve made to show off the Source engine's HDR rendering.
I'm just ranting about hackers and how they piss me off.
I never really had a bad problem with hackers on any game on PC but I also play a lot of Xbox 360 games as my machine isn't powerful enough to handle more than Portal 2. The first time I loaded up the Orange Box, my very first time it was on Xbox and boom, hackers. Nowadays that doesn't anger me much because I don't play TF2 on my 360 anymore now that I got it on PC.
Now there's a new epidemic of hackers and a couple of my other favorite games. Call of Duty: World at War and Modern Warfare. Now before somebody jumps down my throat about CoD, I am not a fanboy and in-fact the thing I hate most about the games are the community around it. Anyway World at War was my first FPS and I liked that CoD more than any other. Of course now I can't play and it pisses me off and makes me wonder why? Why do people feel the need to ruin the experience of other players who just want to have fun playing a game they love.
This isn't just about CoD now, it's about all games that have ever had a hacking problem. I wasn't around during Half-Life's release but does anyone else know if it's MP ever had a hacker problem. I'm glad it doesn't now anyway because I probably play that the most out of all MP games.

PS: I played your seed for 4 Minecraft days and it was nothing short of the average start of a world and a rather boring one too on account of having to play with max fog now shut up with the Herobrine stuff.
Plus in Multiplayer it will show other players as dots if you both have the same map so it's very easily faked. Plus the additional fact that like I've said before Herobrine is and never will be in Minecraft, the only things close are mods. If you want me to believe that you have proof of Herobrine is if you make a video showing that you have an untouched minecraft.jar and then show Herobrine in the game.
So now that this thread is alive again, has anyone found a new server to play on? Most freebuilds I come across end up being/getting griefed to hell.
Yeah but half the time Xephos and Honeydew don't know what their talking about. Night doesn't actually crash the game.
It's one of the only mods I'll use because it's really good and doesn't modify what's already in place.

I'm getting this error upon loading a map in Half-Life. I've checked the error guide and I don't really see the map fitting into the categories listed as since my last compile I've only changed a few textures and added maybe 20 brushes. I ave added nothing that I could understand that would use all available memory. How can I fix this?

Maybe your firewall, I remember I had a problem similar to that not long ago when I couldn't connect to any Source engine servers. It was my Anti-virus's firewall and all I had to do was turn it off.
Wish I didn't update, will the download be updated to how the server was right before shutdown?

Damn it, I updated to 1.7 I can't finish my skyscraper before the server goes down now

@Striker I'd buy it, I don't see it becoming free anytime soon. In fact in November the price is supposed to increase to $35 when it comes out of beta.

Another reason I like Minecraft is the Developers, they like to tease us and are very active with the community.
It's really rare though, like incredibly rare. I had a Nether portal out in the open like that in my first world for a while and nothing ever spawned. Either way even if one did spawn, one Ghast wouldn't be that hard to deal with.
Does the Nether portal have to be legit, or can we spawn in items/blocks?
Missing Chunks, the map loads in squares called chunks and occasionally one of them won't load properly creating a massive hole. It's more common in MP but rarely happens in SP too.
You can download the client but it'd be useless, what you really pay for is an account, when you open the client you have to login to play.
That's why I only play SP
I've never played any Halo but I may, with the new remake, try it out.
I for one am looking forward to MW3.
