Yea in his younger, cooler, hippy days when he had long flowing locks of hair.

It's not possible to have teams in half-life as far as i know.
Half-life mods may have teams but not half-life.
E.G.Counter-strike has the two teams.
I also don't recommend Habbois idea of making a mappack,
Hey guys. Im extremely new
Rule one Don't make mods till you have a knowledge of everyentity

What the hell do you mean by
oh its possible people mapped and still map
Of course people still map for half-life, it is porbably the no.1 game that people map for, including all the mods for it.
This is a half-life mapping site, why on earth would there be this site if no-one mapped for half-life?

Making glass, then you select all of the area you want reflected, and flip it upside down so that the 2 areas of glass are touching, they you make the glass slightly seethrough so that it looks reflective.

in ahhhh that was scary Post #55343
Its a nice idea for a hl horror map, but half-life horror just wouldnt work, it could not scare you.
This may just be me, but i unfortunately was not scared playing doom3, and after playing half-life could tell where all scripted events are going to be and get ready for it.
As good a game as half-life is, it has so many scripted events, that in any other game i can tell where every thing is gonna happen, :(

Having the floor break is good to make the player jump, which is the best i think you can hope for, with half-life.
Also having the roof break above the player is good.

What prefab?
If you mean the train prefab, he says he's already made a train.
Well the train sequence is as far as i can remember:
Func_door-for the doors that open
gger_onceTo open the doors and set off the sequences
Aiscripted_sequence-To make the scientists move etc.
Monster_scientist-A scientist
Monster_barney-A security guard
Func_breakable-for the reflective floors
Func_door_rotating-for the bridge bit where the railing raise to let you through
func_train-to get the train to move among other things
Path_corner-For the trains to follow.
Func_water-for the water
Trigger_autosave-to save the game as you go along

Doors

func_train

glass

Scripting

Water

Im sure there are more entities used but im tired.
Those tutorials are basically what was used but adapted to do things like the moving bridge.

Crossfire sucks because theres always a
somelittle kid camping in the ammo rooms in the bunker and then presses the button.
Bounce is ok but gets boring.
Frenzy just sucks.
Gasworks just has crossbow snipers that hide in shadows.
Subtransit is very good, with goodlayout.
Datacore is ok in moderation.
Bootcamp is good.
Snarkpit just gets really really boring after 2 games.

Are you looking in the right room?
check map properties for errors.
check the map manually, and see if everything is allinged right, just because from above the room and glass looks like its in the right place, doent mean that it is, it could be miles below.
