[quotes]You ever see jarhead? Why does everyone want to be a sniper? Spec. Ops are much more 1337 due to their stealthy ninjaness[/quote]

Mmm, reminds me of BF2. I used to be a sniper, until I realized it was boring, now I spend all day in BF2 sneaking and blowing up tanks with C4 (And getting banned of the Official EA hosted servers for attaching C4 to jeeps and making a car-bomb ;) ) as a Spec-Op boy.

Why doesn't anyone take notice of anything that happens in the 3rd world? It's simple. We, humans, relate more to cultures that are more similar to our own. That's my explanation for our sickly obsession with what goes on in the US. We just don't care what happens in parts of the world that aren't like ours. Don't ask me why, that's just how it is,
Very true. I think it is just natural human instinct, which explains the famous "Birds of a feather flock together" proverb. Though it isn't just the US, here in SA when we heard of 911 we were like "Uhh, ok. Cool."
But when 4 people here got murdered we were shocked.
anyone aware that is darfur people in villages are slaughtered and/or raped everyday? For what reasons? Their ethincity.
I admire your consideration for my continent. :)
Our country has been sending in thousands of troops to control it, especially since if the Muslims gain to much power it could be a threat to the entire continent, including us.

Exactly. If we forgot our ID Card we were told to just go sign for a temporary pass in the office - the last thing they do is call the police!
At my school we don't even have ID's, in fact here ID's in school's is unheard of. At a University, yes.

I've had worse though - 2 nights ago I had a 12 gauge shotgun aimed at my head for trying to leave my brother's car after we both got busted in a police checkpoint for not having his car license updated. :tired:

This is pretty awful. We've had cops here beating up innocent guys before, but this is South Africa - AND the cops got arrested themselves.
These cops were brutes trying to milk their power, obviously.
I hope they get in big trouble. :

I just looked this up:
"The Advanced Tasers have almost 100% effectiveness rating. The M-18 and M18L combines the injury reducing benefits of traditional stun technology with a quantum leap in stopping power via new Electro-Muscular Disruption (EMD) technology. In police studies, the Advanced Taser Guns have a higher instant incapacitation rate than a 9mm hand gun. It over-rides the central nervous system, providing more reliable takedown power."

So these tasers over-rides the nerves? So how do they expect a stunned target to stand up?

I might as well make my mark in this friendly looking thread.

Name: Bradley XXXXXX

Age: 16

Favorite Food: Pasta

Favorite Drink: Appletizer.

Favorite Games: Bf2 (My personal Favorite), CSS (though it is rather dull), HL/HL2 (Naterally), and some other games which aren't worth mentioning.

Favorite music: Heavy Metal.

Location: Durban, South Africa. (I know most of you have undoubtedly never heard of that country ;))

Activities: Friends, Chatting, Athletics (Surprise here anyone?) :)
gaming and mapping.

Otherwise, I live a happy peaceful life in lazy Durban. Here is a photo of me. To the right of me is the "Koeberg" nuclear power plant. This plant is no more than a few miles from where I live. There are radiation-detectors and sirens on every street corner (All in one unit, and solar powered) in the case of radiation leaks. Cool water is taken in from the ocean in the background - the same ocean I swim in. And yes, the water is warmer when swimming closer to the plant. :)

For the conclusion, I hope I can have a fair amount to contribute to this nifty looking site. I also noticed there is the .co.za suffix - Hosted in South Africa?

Hehe, if you play that citadel one backwards, at the end you can hear (in barneys voice) "Fuck me! Fuck you! Fuck you!". I think that is what Rimrook meant. Any way of extracting and reversing these sounds besides recording them with live feed into a sound recording program?

I agree with "Tosse" more than ever. I share similar viewpoints - Relegion being a group of stories to teach people to follow the right path. I believe people who think that the bible is 100% is insane, stories such as Adam and Eve to me are representations of other lessons to be learn't. Ever thought of "The earth was made in 7 days" as evolution? Perhaps each day represents a couple million years. The order is also very similar. We all have our own idea's on religion, which is why it is a topic so often debated in the world.
