Yes, assaults are the key. I used it for Combine, Rebels and Antlions in my old Allout map so i'm sure they'll work for Zombies too.

They can be a little difficult to implement though, i worked it out purely through trial and error.

Please don't. My internet connection is getting upgraded next month so i should be able to play with a more bareable ping. I can't get on all that often due to work dominating my life now, though. :/

But, if you feel it's out-lived it's worth then do what you have to. Maybe TWHL-ers could be made more aware of the server happenings somehow, perhaps TWHL could schedule tournaments like we had going with Snarkpit.. only minus the Snarkpit-ers. ;P

Well, i'm about 5 to 10% into my first map (wow!). I've planned 2, but a third one might pop up. I've got a lot of the textures made though, and i've been playing with some nifty spirit fire and steam effects that i think look quite cool with custom sprites.

Now that my new computer is FINALLY up and running and i'm getting back into the mapping spirit, i should start getting through this at a steady pace.

Yeah, as of this mornings news report I beleive the number of deaths is now 33. The news also tells me this man was looking for his girlfriend at the school and it's unsure whether or not she was one of the casualties.

It's a disturbing and event.

I suppose you'd like some mangled atrocity with a gaping hole in the side where you can see the wires. The P-180 is clean and crisp with defined lines and colours, it looks great on my desk.

I payed $220 for that and i love it. You can pop the door hinge out and swing it all the way around to the side of the case if you're constantly using the CD drive(s) or lock it up when you don't want anyone tinkering with it.

The cooling is very good as it's divided up into chambers inside - the PSU, mobo and hard drives all remain seperate. Some say it looks like a fridge, but think it's the pinnacle of minimalism.

Did no-one involved suspect the kid had been having a very hard time? That's he's probably been ridiculed relentlessly? There's always two sides to the story and the one closest to the truth is usually not the one the media and authorities tell.

I'm surprised no-one has shifted blame to the parents, if the kid was troubled then they should've picked up on it and got him some appropriate help. But, i could be wrong and the kid could just be a maniac.

Trying him as a terrorist is fucking ridiculous, i can think of plenty of similiar cases with completely different results. Shit changes so rapidly now that it's hard not to see this place as going as going to hell.

EDIT:

Sounds like they investigated that quite thoroughly.

I'm not trying to offend Tetsu0 here, but that pic does not look like it takes the Source engine to it's limits.

Tetsu0: judging by that pic alone some serious detail is needed, especially around those big back walls. Oh, and those curves could be smoother, this is Source. I'm not going to comment on the layout/gameplay simply because i have not played the map, this is just an observation.
