Don't like the Alien beacon so much wc dude...

Try one of the burnings, if you don't enjoy squeaks on repeat.

I was going to start another thread entitled: 'Map(s) you think members should enter for compo 13', but I feared reprisal. So I'll keep it in here like a good boy:

Trapt: Knife Chess v2, and the map he's currently working on.
PTS: Hacking, and the one with the boat shooting missles and guns at the you in the helo.
SlayerA: Minimicus or LSDF
Imus:The night things 2
RacerX: I think all his maps are different, so any.

There are many people I'm forgetting too. When I have more time I'll go through the maps and 'nominate' more, unless you guys think this is gay.

I would use a func train, or you could even make the item a func_door and set the speed to a snail's pace.

Also, Scaling for the sprite worked fine, but not for the mdl. I tried scaling shell.mdl to 100 and it changed nothing.

While were on the subject, for kicks, I tried some sprites too. Some worked fine, but others--one of the xflare.spr's--was very buggy, and would shoot in the wrong direction, as well do other weird stuff.

Is this known to be buggy with different sprites, or is my machine/config just wack?

If you upload your map to the problem section, I'll see what I can do. You tried ajusting the x scale, to compensate for the effects of the angle, right?

Nukes are irrelevent anyway. Nobody will use them because, 5% of the worlds arsenal detonated would kill every living thing on the surface of the planet--nuclear winter.

China's trade surplus--6-700billion dollars is roughly equivalent to our trade defecit. The Dollar has lost over 35% of it's value against the Euro over the past 3 years. As Inflation increases, the gap widens, and America becomes evermore cash-poor.

So would you mind explaining me exactly how our America's economy is 'better' than that of Red China.

And by the way, I don't happen to be racist, you pretentious man. The people of China don't want to kill us, but I wouldn't say the same thing about their government.

Yeah, I would agree, but what I'm really asking is I could submit 5 different maps, I wanted? Not that this would be an issue for me, considering to date, I've never uploaded a map to the 'finished' section... :P

Trapt: nice job. I like the way you transitioned grass to sand. The other textures look amazing as well. Looks a bit unnaturally angular in some places, but I'm sure you'll make get any kinks out before submitting the final prodcut.

So Jahzel, your going to go on and on about President Bush and frickin' 911 and your constant assault on 'Neo-Conservatism', whilst completeley dismissing Communist China as a threat?

I'm not even saying I necessarily disagree with any of those things, but you've got to admit, China is The new superpower. Economically, Militarily--conventional weapons--no other country even comes close.

And since Bill Clinton gave them the technology to build ICBM's, It's only a matter of time before they catch up with our nuclear arsenal.

Tehn what?

2. You may submit as many entries as you like.
Does this mean you can submit 100 different maps or 100 different versions of the same map--If one was inclined, and thought 100 was a nice round number...
