Well, I started mapping a little over a year now, and I can't stop thinking about what to map next, let me tell you, the other day at school, I went to the gym, and in the locker rooms, there was a generic flickering light, it was great, I went home a mapped it... I just want what every other mapper desires, the need to be recognized. And thats why i'd like to join this, seeing how the first mix, was such a succession.

hmm don't know, I know you can decrease his health because I once made an animation sequence of grunts (Reskinned Swat) blowing down a door, and shooting barney, although, barney always kicked there ass.. but too increase it.. don't know, you'd also have to relize that barney will die sometime, so having him as yourside kick throughout your mod may not be that great of an idea...

Why would you need to know that anyway... you should be able to know and point out what looks good, and what doesn't, if your brushes look too thick, too tall, etc.. I always use the info_playerstart as my reference for doors, hallways... etc. :P

ya try a smaller map.. something quick to compile.

And I don't think it would be the compiler itself.. but maybe you have certain flags checked that shouldn't be.. try

Compilation Controller V1.4 --a setup tutorial is also included.

Other than that i have no idea.

split it right down the middle, so it loads when you cross sides and go down or upstairs..?? just a thought, as for the problem....

You should have the aim_stofa files in your ValvaHammer/maps folder.. for starts, not in your trs folder...

If your trs folder is the name of your mod then put it in ValveHammer/Maps/trs, also try "export .map" to that location...

Worth a try your compile error does'nt really show much.. and I've never ran into this problem.. so maybe someone else would be more familiar with it..???

By the way what batch compiler are you using?

I'd recomend using "Compilation Controller V1.4"

Then again I did buy it but the software did'nt come with a cd key so I could'nt instal it without a crack soo.. I did'nt bother.. it seemed to be a great program though!

How do you go about buying the engine off of valve, and how much would it cost..(about)?

---oh and hahaha Bloodshed... your in the exact same position as me. you see its because Bloodshed, is set up for totally different values, thats why you get like 300 errors, if you want to use bloodshed, you have to reset it up from scratch... have fun wit that..lol, itys best you just buy Microsoft C++ compiler...

Which reminds me, those rich bastards who have this program should put it up for download. PLease FOR MY SAKE..lol (anyways.. in the meantime, I guess I'll have to bye it.)

What about Microsoft Tools 2003, this is a free batch compiler but how do you use it? Can it compile the SDK source?

Look for a detailed brush you clipped instead of using Vertex Manipulation! The Fix Errors Option should also get rid of your problems

Sorry guys Im on the school computer and can't get into the VERC so I always use the wadinclude option, but how does it work? can I wad include all the textures, or would that make my map sizes alot bigger?
