To figure it out just try experimenting with the pitch yaw roll. Usually yaw is forwards, backwards, left and right directions. Hope that helps.

First of all download ALL the map files and stuff again (if downloaded). Then sort them out like this, making new "packs" as you go. Like this:

"Map1"(folder)includes:
Map1.wad
Map1.txt
maps(folder)----->map1.bsp
models(folder)----> bob.mdl gun.mdl
sound(folder)-----> explode.wav

That should help :D

made a brush about 5 units away from the ceiling and textured it ~LIGHT3A.

I made a box and hollowed it, made a brush about 5 units away from the ceiling and textured it ~LIGHT3A. Compiled it with Zoner's Tools and found that the map was really bright! I aligned the texture not fitted! And also it had no leaks. Please help me. :confused:

Hammer can only compile a map FOR YOUR MOD or ANOTHER HL MOD only. The following applies for compiling a hl mod/minimod map. Copy the half-life compile process (in advanced mode) and at the last command ($game_exe +map $file -dev -console) change it to ($game_exe +map $file -game mod name -dev -console) without the *, rename the compile process to the mod then you're done! Remember to set up the mod first in the options!

Also if you want to tweak hl for your mod, you'll either HAVE to:
-code it
-model
-script

Sorry I didn't add this before but how do you trigger it after killing all of the monstermakers. I'm using four atm and I want it to trigger the endsection when they're all killed.

Can someone tell me how to trigger "trigger_endgame" after killing a certain amount of monsters. Currently I made a map called challenge, in the map vault, with monstermakers (zombies) and after I kill them all, I want to make the game end. Please help!! :(

EDIT:
Sorry, the entity is supposed to be trigger_endsection not endgame.
