Yeah. It would. But it'd still be extremely ugly.
And why do you always target me, Ghetto? What do you mean by that statement. Did i ever scale a 64x64 to a 256x256 wall?

I have not done it, but i have an idea. Try this:
Make a trigger multiple somewhere where the box can slide in-front of the laser's path. Under flags, tick the Pushables box and the No Clients box. When the trigger multiple is triggered by the box, have it tell a trigger_changetarget to change the target of the laser to an info_target somewhere in the projected path of the box, but not the box itself so the laser does not follow the box as it moves. then after the box is out of the trigger multiple, have the same thing change the laser's target back to the original target.

Do you get what i'm saying?

how big is big?
Hit alt+P to check for problems before compiling.
And did you 'fit' the texture to the wall?
Because if you did, that's a big no-no :)

yeah.
Will aesthetics count towards judging or is it strictly on the puzzle itself?
I plan on getting some custom textures but i want to know if i should really emphasize on the looks of the map.

in Back again to beg for map help! Post #254753
From my understanding, the player is faced with 3 doors. All 3 doors lead to the next room, But 2 of the paths are long or arduous in some nature in comparison to the Shorter/easier third.

The player then chooses which door he/she would like to go through.

The computer, or whatever, then offers a suggestion to which door the player should travel through.

Now the player can choose to take the suggestion, or Go with his/her original choice.

Then the player will have to take the path of choice (whether it be long or short) to the next room, and some information should have to be logged.

1) If the player's choice was the correct (Short) choice
2) If the Suggested choice was the correct Choice
3) If the player took/refused the suggested choice.

And the player would have to do this "X" number of times.

My only question; What's the Value of x / How many rooms are necessary for an accurate result? And... does this have to be Source? ( I could rig something up in Gld Src. (HL1))

Another Advertising win for the compilator! :)
The compilator also has support for programs such as HLFIX.
As long as the geometry you're trying to build is on-grid, and valid in hammer (after alt+p'ing in editor) HLFIX will guarantee valid in-game geometry after compilation.
I know it's a mouthful, but it works.
And it definitely helps seal leaks with complicated stuffs

It depends on which Age of Empires you are referring to
I was in an online game in AOE II a few years back, i had a small little town defended by a couple bombard towers and a castle or 2..
Anyway
The opposing team, the damn franks, came over to my base with 9 trebuchets and a whole crapload of archers.
Took down all my towers within 2 minutes, but i sent a slew of paladins monks after them
i converted all the trebuchets, and killed all the archers, turned around and completely obliterated the dude.
He said i cheated. :-\

No this is not off topic because this was one of the previews for the film. I'd kinda like to see this movie. I'll have to check rottentomatoes first.

And did you Make the changes in the rad file that make the texture emit light??
