It's restricted, but there's ways to bypass that. You can still gain speed, etc.

This guide is probably the most in-depth one available, covering every movement bug in 1.6.

Bunny hopping is still perfectly possible in 1.6, along with a number of other jump-related bugs.

My Mom bought it for me. I didn't keep the receipt. But I can promise I didn't steal it.
You mean that certain.. er.. special version you can "buy"?
Grabbed that one myself. ;)

The server has automatic daily backups, so griefing's not that huge of a deal in terms of damage. Just a hassle to deal with.

Anywho, it's all been rolled back to the version that was on 4 days ago. If your place is still griefed or if you have stuff missing - let me know.

As far as I can tell, some outside players might have gotten in due to a blunder in the server config on my end. Hopefully this won't happen again.

If you're a regular and you've spotted someone you don't know on the server, drop me a line on steam.

Well that's nice. I'll look into who might have done it & find the last non-griefed version of the map (you might lose a day or two of work; depends on how long ago this happened). The whitelist's been cleared for now.

If you're still playing - PM me for re-assessment.

So essentially you want the small forum avatars function back? I think we had that back in like TWHL2 or something.

Re-introducing it in TWHL4 might be a good idea actually - should help with readability on smartphones, etc.

EDIT: Ah, we still have that. Never mind. :D
I agree that that should make the posts smaller as well - it only makes sense.

If you're on normal-sized screen though, does it really hurt that much to scroll a tiny bit more?

The key is essentially clipping every cuboid brush into tetrahedrons (cross-cut in every view). Then you can transform-rotate that object (Ctrl+M) at any angle, forming any geometry you want without errors. Using that method to rotate also keeps every vertice on-grid, which keeps everything nice & clean.

The edges of the bevel are a bit too clean for such a grungy/old-looking texture.
Try & chisel away at the beveled panels with the pencil tool set to low opacity to give them some tiny dents. Also give the shadow/highlight a tiny bit of blur.

PM me with your MC username to be whitelisted. Note that it's a fairly small-scale server with only 8 slots, running on 1gb ram. Tends to lag quite a bit with more players on.

I'd say given the general style of that corridor you could go for something more out-of-the-ordinary and easily get away with it. Try jump pads, elevator plats, or any other kind of vertical elevator.

With that you should be able to extend the corridor vertically w/o any problems.

in trigger_multiple once per round Post #297425
I'm assuming this is a CS 1.6 problem.

Do you mean how to make a trigger_multiple only work once per round? Won't just setting the reset delay to something really long do the trick? You'll probably want 600+ secs for CS, as 10 min is the maximum round duration you can have.
