Cant run HL2 because of your computer? I found this at the Sven Coop forums and it will probably help you. Mess around with thes uggested settings though as I am sure nobody will want their HL2 looking completely like that.

But if you use Steam's server you have to run Steam 24/7. Just use HLDS so you don't need to run Steam.

Decompile the model, edit te qc file for the relading animation, and recompile I've done it a hundred times to perform the exact same thing he's asking.

Google HLDS, download the latest version of Half Life Dedicated Server and start that bad boy up. If you have a firewall open up your ports.

who cares, you have used cracks, therefore you are indirect responsible for spreading them.Ok, first of all, a crack gets you a game for free, I bought Half Life, CS and evetything else I have.
