Yeh I was wondering where that went.
Rabid Monkey, sounds good should I focus on the modeling of a single object or just using the tools in general?

Sounds a bit compilicated to be doing something like that inside of hammer. Is it gonna be like your acually in the pc? You need to learn how to make your own custom materials using pictures. Sounds good anyway though!

in Creating Doors with triggers Post #113500
The names dont really have much importance, and I dont know why your trying to parent it! You need to use the I/O System so for example:
Trigger OPTS: On Start touch~Bridge~close Thats all you really need but if you want the castle bridge to shut realisticly use some clucky mettalic ambients, and make sure your bridge is a func_door_rot. If you want a even more realistic bridge go for the phsics aproach with hinges and such. But i wouldnt do that until you'v mastered phsyics and the I/O systen.

Jesus Help the poor guy out! You guys are hardly inviting! Theres a nice tutorial at www.hl2world.com. Use a nice func_door or if you need a phys one use phsy_hinge and constrain to model or brush what ever you prefer. These are only the basics. And you dont need an origin brush. :D

in HL2 bugs Post #112093
In my opinion, I would not buy a new motherboard. AGP (acellerated graphics port) motherboards cost quite a bit more than a regular PCI board. There are also PCI Express graphics cards out there which are just as efficient as AGP. If you do decide to go for a new motherboard, don't go straight into it (like I did) as much consideration for aspects such as compatibility, power demands, processors etc.

in HL2 bugs Post #111954
I have the same as you, The controller only supports DX7 for HL2, what your problem may be is your memory, doubling your memory could be more worthwhile than buying a flash graphics card and also a lot cheaper but if you do want a graphics card they do plenty of PCI graphics cards although their mainly Nvidia cards, as theres not many ATI pci cards.

Well Mate if you, have a look at the model list it is more than model. I think there are seperate pieces that need to be phys_constrained together. Remember to use a contstraint Manger or else it will all be screwed up and if your new, use the prop_phsy and give them each names.
