What do you mean by again?
And was that "you suck" in the shoutBOX directed at me IMEC?
If so why?
And if it was give me a break I was only mentioning this in case there was a way around it.

I don't know about you, but most of the time I like steam, constant updates, news, etc etc etc .
However the other day my phone line was disconnected temporarily and I couldn't access a damn thing through steam. It said there was no login information on my computer, so I couldn't even access the offline mode.
This is annoying because I registered a Valve product I already owned on CD and it wouldn't even let me play that.
I only mention this because I believe if you purchase something you should be able to use it all the time, connection or no connection.
Let me know what you think. (or is it my lack of knowledge that is the problem)
Cheers

Use HL2DM for best results.
Oh and sometimes the chain of events stop so just load it up again if it does. Cheers

Just run the game from your play games menu once after the update and then loading your levels through hammer should be fine. Dont hold me to this but I had the same error and it went away after I had loaded the actual game.

I think this map is finished now, I have tested it with bots and it works better than I thought it would.

If there are any more suggestions for improvments I will add them to the map (within reason. still new to mapping)

in Multiple Cameras???? Post #89992
OK first of all i have been mapping for HL2DM for 3 days now and got a map on the go so im still in the learning stages. I have used several tuts off this site and they have been very helpful.
My problem is getting multiple cameras and screens. I have read the tut on cameras and the amount of qustions on this in the forum suprises me(so heres another one). Every time I put a 2nd camera in and give it a different name from the 1st and apply this to my func_monitor entity I get the image from the 1st camera on both monitors.
Any ideas anyone or am I missing somthing?
Also I cant seem to get the tutorial from the snarkpit, which i bet anwsers this. (sods law)

P.S joined today just to ask this qustion, its driving me crazy.
