My BMI is 16.5! Im a scrawny little guy
Dont worry about the terrain looking pointy or rough. Im gradually smooting it out. I was also planning on adding trees and bushes like you guys suggested and maybe some other structures to hide behind. And the building will get new textures and have windows. And the tunnel will lead to another area of the map that I havent made yet.

Update. Experimenting with different skys. (trying to stick with the original CS ones to save file space) Added what will be a building with rooms and a tunnel in the hillside.

Set the back clipping plane as high as it will go. But even then it cuts it off to black after a certain distance. Just how Hammer is.
Meh, the terrain seems really unrealistic to me, for some reason.I think its the desert background that makes it look out of place.

I just use HL and CS 1.5 to test all my maps. Steam is too much of a hassle for mapping on the older games.

You can make a stair prefab and then just use the prefab each time you need stairs. And if you like different types then you make more prefabs of each.

Yeah, but I know about a foreigner who went into the front yard of a house to ask for directions. The man in the house said Freeze!! a couple of times, but the guy didnt understand him and kept walking towards the door. He got shot square in the chest for being lost in Washington D.C and not understanding english. That's just not fair. I think this site should have a rep system where you if you help someone they can rep you and add to your rep score (reputation). So the more people you help the more reps you can get. And it will show up next to your av or something. I think it will encourage people to help and will show which people are the most helpful.
