oh yeah, we'll frag them real good...
Laughed out loud Rimroock.

They say that life was transported by asteroids landing on the earths surface, microscopic cells that came from the asteroid then grew in the ideal atmosphere and life was started on earth, since then we have evolved over time (cant wait to get my third leg).
What interests me is the thought that other rotating solar systems could have a planet like earth that is near its sun and can sustain life, it may not be similar life forms such as ours, we cant believe that we are the only life forms in the universe (and not just human) or do most of you believe that we arrived by chance, a creation from a reaction, if this belief is correct then it would show that we are not alone.

So Elon does that mean that we are seeing in the night sky is what happened millions of years ago, what do you think about this theory.. the comets we know that are flying around in orbit in our solar system are particles of rock and ice that came from the big bang theory and have traveled millions of light years to reach us and will one day hit the earth.
imagine in years to come we see an object heading for our solar system that is ten times larger than our galaxy, we see it in real time but the image is 3 million years old, would we be able to predict when the impact will take place, or will it take that long that:
A. We/the human race, have already perished at our own hands.
B.We have evolved over the millions of years and have the technology to avoid the situation.

[just a thought]

I just love numbers, remember this SOCATOA for Pythagoras theorem ?
its a tool for the rule.
and remember the Isosceles triangles,
(cos C = 1 - 2c over 2a)
Just like pythagoras and his students, I to believe that everything is related to numbers and everything can be predicted and measured in rythmic patterns or cycles.
Time travel is possible but INERTIA (The tendency of a body to resist acceleration; the tendency of a body at rest to remain at rest or of a body in straight line motion to stay in motion in a straight line unless acted on by an outside force.) makes it impossible for the human body to do so. You would have to travel at the speed of light to reach the outer solar system, even if this was possible if you traveled for 8 solar hours at the speed of light and returned, you would still be the same age, but everyone else on earth would have aged around 8 years.

The competition results are in.
1st place goes to Tycell.
"Turkey goes for presidencial secritay job."
2nd place goes to Urbanebula
Turkey: "Actually, it started out as a tiny little wart on my face."
3rd place goes to Gman
"Happy Thanksgiving! Show your nation's president that you care!"
well done to all that entered, the picture was not that easy to respond too.
Now the honour of finding the next picture for the "Caption Contest" lay's in Tycell's hands.....

Well I program C.N.C machines (numerical controled machines), the languages are different, for instance the Mazatrol system is unlike the Fanuc system, Fanuc reads G-codes for every single operation.
The Mazatrol system is much more clever because you can scan the drawing and down load it to the the machine and it will work out its own path, but you have to tell the computer what material it is to be machined.
It then pre-determins how long the tool life will be for each operation, and also work out its own speeds and feed rate.
I also have to program the robot arm to operate within the perameters of the machine, one wrong calculation and "BANG", (expensive problem to fix)

And what exactly was my deep thought you ask.....well, if I type a little about myself, would you respond with a smart arse reply, for instance it could be a negative reply for several reasons.

A. imaturity.
B. You realy dont get it and answer to your mental ability.
C. Or you are an ass.

Look forward to your deep thought on this..... :aghast:

Words are words. There's not much point in discussing how they were made up, or why is this called "shuwr" and not "gwatko", or why do we "kligjer" instead of "tryclpet"-ing, etc.

Its always bothered me on how we came to name things in the world, take for instance the word "DOOR" we all know that it is an object that we open to go some where.

Would it feel the same if it was called a truck? How do we come up with words for things that is universally understood, like cat, dog or even toast (cooked bread by radiant heat)

I hope that made sence....
For instance imagin if the following made perfect sence:
"I went to the kitchen's the other day and laid a frog, it cost me 20 slippers".

Now I will repeat it in the way we all understand:
"I went to the shops the other day and bought a book, it cost me 20 dollars".

This is heavy deep thought, and "no" I dont do drug's, lol.

Indeed my knowledgable friend..it was a decisive navy battle in the Greek struggle for independance from the Ottoman empire, fought in 1827 in the Bay of Navarino off Pylos in the Peloponnese, in which Britain, Russia and France sent a combined fleet which destroyed the Egyptian and Turkish fleet.
