Hi everyone.

I recently followed this guide how to add new weapons to your mod: http://www.iwannamap.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2202

Now I got some questions about this guide because even if I follow this guide exactly I always end up with like 200 erros.

1.In the guide he says that you should add your new weapon into hl > Source Files but doesn't it make more sense if you add your weapon into hl > Source Files > HL2 DLL where all the other weapons are located. So I basically wonder in which of these you should add your weapon into.

2.He mentions in the guide that you shouldn't replace model file locations and stuff like that but the problem is that I really can't see which lines I shouldn't replace, all I know is that I shouldn't replace the 12 instances on the "acttable". So I wonder if someone here can help me and show me which lines I should'nt replace.

Fell free to add something that you think is wrong with the guide or something that you think I have done wrong.

Did that MuzzleFlash but i didn't work....anyway i kind of fixed it when i changed them into env_message.

But now i have a new question.
I don't know if this is possible but I want a func_wall_toggle to become visible when my 2 env_messages/game_texts has been shown.
btw im using SOHL if that matters.

Hello, I have 2 game_texts that trigger on specific events, the problem is that only one of them work, If i trigger the first one the second one wont work and if i trigger the second the first one wont work.
I will be pleased if someone could help me with this.

when i install hd its not creates a pak file in gearbox (that is hd) , all i can find is pak0.

at the moment i dont use steam oppo , and when i try to start it it comes up something like cant find oppuforup.exe (not sure if is a exe then)

i have imported some models and they are so nice that i must use hd but the problem is that my opposing force is bugged , cant find a exe file (oppfoup or something) and for my map/mod i want the cleansuit_scientist and stuff.

so if someone can send me the oppo hd or help me with the problem :)

when i try to rum my map on hammer (with spirit) it says:
your half-life/exetutable has been modified. please check you system for viruses and then re-install Half-life
i used this guide when i configurated it I:SpiritdocsSetup.html

maybe a little noobish question.. :D

but when i try to save something in milkshape i shall visit

im sure that it exsist millions of tutorails on this but send me a link then instead to say "search on google!!!!!"

every time i open a half life texture in paint shop pro 8 i can only use the colors that exsist on the texture (if it is a weapon i can only use gray nad not yellow or something).

stop cry now, i fixed it!! :)

I just tried to modify my setting on my GeForce , and its was so simple that i just needed to change my colors (in windows) from 16bit to 32bit :lol:

when i shall choose a model to my prop (world model) , so when i open the folder with all the pictures on the models they are all black!! :(
