actually my PC sucks. I dont even have 1 ghz and 512mb of ram.. it has something to do with the lighting I think.

As for the glasses thing, my eyesight wasn't bad until I started to be on the computer more than normal. I also noticed on days off that if I was on the computer for hours, my legs were sore from poor circulation. Inevitably, if I had kept that up, blood clots would have been imminent. Popularity in adulthood is called your status. Movie stars and insanely rich people are considered "popular" and they are rich, have good jobs and get babes. Except maybe bill gates who doesn't get babes, and Osama who get's nothing.

You know what? I love TWHL too, it's the only online site that I have stayed with and was active for more than a year. Great people, mods, mappers, forums and tutorials. Best mapping site on THE PLANET.

dont get mad at people who hunt. They are probably the most civilized people alive. Where do you think beef comes from? Farmers who line hundreds of cows up and slaughter them in front of eachother. Damn I would definately want to be killed by a hunter and not a grinding machine. think of chickens who get their heads cut off, and other cruel ways for animals to die, and you realize that hunters are waaaay nicer and less crazed than a meat or poultry farmer.
Although traditional hunters can choose to buy cedar wood arrows, artificial arrows are more common. Arrows are also not slow either. Compound bows 40lb and up can fire an arrow up to speeds of 300 feet per second. Heavier 70lb compunds are like 350, added with the huge mass of an arrow compared to a small bullet, means a very large amount of kinetic energy.
Arrows are not made of wood today. Ultra smooth and straight aluminum or carbon. Not less damage, lot's more damage, but most of the time on medium to small animals it travels right through. They take maybe 10-30 max seconds to pass away. Now you have seen people on the news get shot more than once by guns and still be concious for hours while they are transported to hospitals, imagine how a deer feels. Not to mention that bullets are extremely hot when shot, an arrow actually cools down in flight.
I hate shooting guns. I personally prefer bows. I am dead accurate up to 40 yards (120 feet). Bows take you back to old times better than guns do. Also, hunting with bows prevents suffering, the animals die faster and more clean with an arrow rather than a giant lead shell, so there is less suffering. Bows are safer, proper for all ages, and more natural.

I got it to work. I didn't know that the HL engine is so limited that it can only handle 256x256 limits? Oh well, sacrificing quality for workage I guess. No need to help anymore. 
that is the only way I believe. make 1 ONE SMALL piece of glass and make it breakable. THEN copy it everywhere. make sure the heath isnt like 1000 or something make it like 2.

Thanks seventh it works perfectly. One more question. How would I change a level after a certain duration? mean, like, after 30 seconds passes from the map start, I want a level change to occur. I know it has to do with teleporting the player to a black room with levelchange in it but I can't get it right, I think.
You are in a falling object and I want a continuous shake going on until the level change. How do I do this? If I set the duration long the shake doesn't happen at all. I want it to last about 20 seconds.

I think any compo on this site should be HL1. Mainly because that's what most people can map for, play and judge. This site was created for HL1, not HL2. It's ok if we have forums and tutorials and stuff for h2, but if we do competitions for hl2 it should be seperate.

You know if you have OF you could just map for that instead...
In the map vault, where you choose what game your map is for, there should be a new little picture for HL2. Don't know how many times I looked at a map labeled "HL" and it turned out to be HL2. Some maps I can't tell at all from the screenshot and because of my ISDN connection I don't have the time to DL it to find out.
