Depending on how long you go at it men can come twice.

I disagree with the 43% or whatever who think kids 10-11 should get cell phones. Are they stupid? Kids that age are way too immature to carry around something like that. I'm with the 14-16 range.

I'm totally pro-abortion. You people need to get in touch with your masculine side and stop with all the touchy feelings. Just because you think it's wrong to stop the growth of a few dozen cells doesn't make it right for the mother to have to put up with an unwanted child. The world is over populated anyway.

if you carve a block into a block it doesn't create any leaks. Only angles with a slope more than 0 or vertical create leaks.

I'm pissed at Americans and I AM american. Why do fucking soccer moms need to buy a 30 foot long 11 seat van that gets 4 mpg to transport her 3 kids?

What we need is restrictions on low gas milage. If all the car driving people here drove 60 mpg vehicles instead of SUVs we would be a lot better off.

What the are you on about? Jesus Christ was a real person who went around preaching and whatnot. It's whether people chose to believe what he said or not that made them Christian or not. Only someone not knowledgable of basic world history wouldn't think that Jesus existed.

Hmm...Let's just say it took me like 3 chapters in a textbook to learn the theory of relativity and the knowledge behind it. You kind of crammed it all into 3 paragraphs.
Reading your example made me wonder if I am right or not in what I think it is. I'm going to have to re-research some things.
When person-one looks at his own clock, he can't tell the difference from when time goes slower, or when it goes normal.
That threw me off. I got confused because I thought person one and two could see eachother's clocks. Now I don't know if I am correct in thinking that gravity isn't the only cause of time-dilation, which is what you are talking about. Now I am considering that maybe acceleration causes time dilation, because you get increased gravity during acceleration, but not at a constant velocity. But I know that can't be right because there is time-dilation at high speeds without acceleration! Argh! I'm completely confused now!

Anyone who feels bad for this baby should investigate further. Why don't you read up on the disease it has? It doesn't even have a freaking brain! It has no cure, and no prevention. The baby only has involuntary reflexes at best, no senses at all, not even thoughts. Give it a rest it's just a bunch of flesh and bones in the shape of a human.

Right. Our meaning is to live, to live and to improve our means of living. I'm just stating the truth above. But once we have achieved self-sufficiancy, our purpose will be entertainment/casual sex...I guess?
Posted 18 years ago2006-04-20 20:58:13 UTC
in Darwin was clearly wrong Post #175707
Actually I believe there is't a real meaning to life. We just evolved to survive in our environment and developed intelligence to help us do so as we become more advanced. We live and die, and continue to survive and think of ways to survive easier or more efficiantly. The whole purpose of our existance is to advance to a level of self-sufficiancy, meaning we can create what we need to survive without expending a resource. Once we achieve that, there is no point to continue to evolve and our "meaning" is over.

I can accept people who use god as a pillar to lean on, and his rules and whatnot to guide their lives, but anyone who actually believes that there is an all powerful being in the sky, is as intelligent as the same people who thought so 500 years ago. That's a big downgrade. Shouldn'e we be past making up pretend things? That's for children and retards.

Just because you are 18 and can have sex legally with an older person, doesn't make you an adult at all. There are many people out there who should be considered children well into their twenties. Plus in other countries the age of consent is different.
I would say you are an adult when you stop growing.

Kill him and get it over with he's not going to get better. I bet he didn't even feel bad. There are way too many people like this that are mentally disturbed beyond the point of salvation, so we should remove them and then lower taxes. Mmmm lowered taxes... I admit I am a selfish person when it comes to people who are not my close friends or family. Its a kill or be killed world, I'm not going to befriend my coworker! I'm going to surpass him and make him work under me! There is only one way to succeed, look out for yourself until you get where you're going, then concentrate onther matters.

This probably isn't me, but it's the way I feel at this very moment.

Oooo...k?

I stated the theory of relativity when I was describing space-time. I was going to post about why time doesn't stand still for you, but it seems you figured it out before I could post :D

Einstein's theory of relativity totally disproves everything you are taught until you learn it. There is no such thing as simultanity (is that the word?) everything has it's own inertial frame in which it moves through space-time. Anything viewed from another vantage point would be happening in "another time" although the distortion can be very miniscule. Like me talking to you from across the room.

You can however notice black holes by x-rays, and disturbed paths/or sucking in of nearby objects. I havn't done alot of research on black holes, but I do know that it's not a hole, it's just a collapsed star that has so much gravity it blocks light. The gravity is so strong that it can compact even the largest stars into like a centimeter soo..
I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure.
