anyone aware that is darfur people in villages are slaughtered and/or raped everyday? For what reasons? Their ethincity.

Stop being so petty about these little things and trun your mind to whats really going on. Genocide, thats whats going on.

Its not like they can fightback either. Heres the scene.

One village, where people are trying to live (in shabby circumstances i might add). A helicopter comes, rockets everything in sight, then a group of camel riders aka Jangaweed come and rape the surviving women, kill the surviving men, and then pillage and take whats left. And the governments not doing jack shit.

start thinking outside of this pathetic country.

Nowhere in any scripture of christanity does it say that teh jews and teh muslims are gonna burn.

if you truly repent and are sorry for your sins you stand good chances of entering the KoG fourthgen. Once again,do some research before trying to prove something that you think is true because everyone else in your society thinks it is. always look at the discussion from two points of views and not just your own

aight here goes another thread dedicated to the expansion of our horizons. How do you add to your funds? WHat kind of jobs do you do to get a couple more ends? This is usefull since some people who want some more cash for whatever might find a usefull job here.

For me its twofold.
Im a USSF referee since 4 years now and its great payment aswell as an extra training and fitness. for example i can make $27 of a recreantional (non competetive) game for U-9 kids with each half being 30 mins. i could easily make $40-$50 from refereeing competetive games but id have to endure aggravated coaches who blame me when their pathetic team loses.

anyone else do something that might help a brother get some extra weekend monee ?

so you cant target christians generally, therefor you shouldnt. YOu should say everyone is an asshole rather than christians are assholes, because whilst not being a minority, christians do not represent 100% of the world population

actually if you also read some responses to the da vinci code you might see that although some of it might be be true, there are alot of lies. Dont take every bit of fiction that sounds correct for the truth ^^

How bout someone gives us a small anecdote of how a christian is an asshole instead of just always cursing them? ALl i see is: "yes true but most christians wont agree cause they're assholes."
care to share proof?

Well, if my knowledge serves me correctly atheists are people who activly oppose all religion correct? I was just wondering why they have to flame everyone else who is in some way religious. Obviously this is a generalization, some people being more easy going then others.

I'm a christian, but what i always found so facinating was that all major religions are very similar (one god, some prophets, etcetc. Dont want to say something i cant back up now).

Now since they are all very similar, excluding the details of eating and "zeal" i dont understand how people could and still can go to war with each other without first looking at the otherside and seeing that they're not much different.

Lets take the crusades for example. Thousands died for the sake of a city that was holy to various religions. Why not share it? Compromises can always be pulled or at least the city can be divded into sectors. Now this sounds pigheaded because for example european christians had little claim to it, but it wouldnt have been hard to make space for them?

It did afterall work during the roman empire.

pagans...

christanity actually believes and teaches Redemption, thus saving oneself from the cleansing fire. Also the cleansing fire is just a process not hell.

Hinduism has the karma and cast system, aka, no hell.

Not sure about muslims, but buddism doesnt have a hell either.

So shut the fuck up and do research before you spam some useless shit.

ill watch the episodes tomorrow. as for me im a roman catholic and believe in god and the KoG. Though i must admit religion including christianity has created alot of problems. But at the moment christianity preaches people to love each other regardless of religion. (gay marriage issue is a bit to uptight though)
as to ants outbreak anyone else find it ironic that he calls people fags, though he just stated peeps should love more?
methinks he just wants more people together so he can have mor presents ^^

agreed, though i was aiming for a sort of "slap in the face" thing, something people dont forget very fast.

I thought about starting a thread several times over the past months but never got around to it, or didnt think people would be intrested.

Ill just leave my current avvy up till after chrismas.

well anyways, if anyone wants to know something
www.savedarfur.org

though there are lots things or situations you could do or help out with if you're intrested.

on a side note, noones given me any bright ideas for chrismas cards. As you might have noticed im not the most creative of people.

changed it, but you still shouldnt forget about them over your petty diefferences. im not representing myself with my former avvy. It serves to remind you.
A sponser? Well im brother to a dead child from the same country.
Don't forget that whilst you might be a sponser, other people who would do something dont because they forget.

Also why do i get this sort of reaction for raising awareness whilst others laugh about 9/11?

its cool. From the context of some discussions (involving famous terrorist attacks) i can understand where you could get the notion that someone might think its funny.
I however have no reason to be amused by it (lived 12 years in Africa + 2 adopted siblings). I suppose i phrased my point a little oddly aswell.
