yep Anomalous Materials.

All that little interactivity!
Turn the lights off on the scientists and they get upset with you, how good was that for 1998

Yep just dumbing down. Not every homeboy could talk their way out of New Reno alive in F2.

Mind you, I never played F4 but it seemed like a real departure from 3 and NV, and those games were depature enough from 1 and 2

Hmmm thats a tricky one.

We've Got Hostiles was awesome because things ramp up when I didn't think they would after Office Complex and seeing the army guys for the first time created a whole new dimension to the game. Little things like hearing the vocal announcer explain the military has taken over the systems... awesome!

But. I'm going Unforeseen Consequences.

Ya I'll go BM Inbound "Please keep all limbs inside the train at all times"

Not sure what the designer's idea was behind Gonarch was, but its voice sounds were pretty freaky, as well as the music track that played.

Not to be that guy, but I believe that it's "Nice hit"
oh now it makes sense! Well anyway, even if its 'nice hit' I still think 'I see it' was kinda cryptic and cool

thats a tricky one.

Apprehension had the super scary bit where you walked over those breaking platforms over the water while the sea monsters wanted to nom you up...
And the first fight between the assassins which ended with:

"Get him"
"heh heh.... I see it"

But yeah going QE but only just.

SUUUURFACE TENSSSSSION

The dam, the tank battles, the alien/grunt crossfires, the headcrabs hiding in the sand, the garg at the end with the mortar controls, the cliff face bit, the snipers

how isnt it the best!

On a Rail is where its at cos Barney died in Blast Pit and you couldnt save him even after he gave good advice on sneaking.

But that end bit of BP where you jump into the tunnels was pretty trippy but Rail still wins for me

Forget About Freeman, the story telling of seeing from the Marines how they were failing in their operation was done really well, especially after the chaos of Surface Tension. Also because this chapter conveys this theme in overlapping into the early chapters of Opposing Force too, which was done really well.

This is a tricky one! I loved Office Complex because of its build up into We've Got Hosptiles and its cool environment.

But yeah I'm going UNFORESEEN CONSEQUENCES because, similar to Black Mesa Inbound it was just different to other games at the time. Backtracking through an area that was all calm and peaceful first time but now all chaos was just awesome - I wasn't familiar with any other games back then did any kind of thing, it made the world very believable.
It does a wonderful job of teaching you how the game world works, should you have skipped the Hazard Course for whatever reason
I had never thought of that!

Also how much of a workplace hazard was that surgical device, what kind of surgery would you even do with it!

Side Meyer's Pirates! is so fun, especially all the mini-games like the sword fighting and stuff you do. And its really easy to get into too, very cool.

I've been playing Close Combat Battle of the Bulge (1999) which came up on GOG recently, it takes me back!

But thats the case with all foods... super processed food isn't very good for you anyway, you're better growing or sourcing your own stuff locally (well, where I live anyway), animal products or otherwise.

I will string together the maps I have and then post a link for an alpha testing phase. Anyone is welcome to provide their thoughts and feedback.
I'm not sure I feel comfortable people having a go at my map considering the scripts (which actually sets the character/theme of the map) arn't fully functional...

its looking alright so far though, Windawz? I think we'll still have some polish time after the due date, Urby just wants the first versions.

To quote the man himself:
After testing, people would get a chance to make changes and adjustments to their maps before a final version is put together, tested and released.

SSB's comments may come across as a bit headlong but I think largely his intentions in his comments are a bit miss-understood and people interpret them incorrectly from what he means, considering his skill of English.
Lets just try to listen and learn from each other.

I think SSC means his story involves Trump shooting the moon during the eclipse but after he shoots it a ricochet of the moon comes down to Earth and hits him. Its set up is similar to a cartoon in the vein of The Simpsons.

But SSC is concerned people don't understand his joke and if the image was not accessible here you could also find it on his Twitter which you can get to by searching his real name (not his TWHL username).

But I understand his joke.

I've played mostly Solo, which is terrifying, or Squad, which is just crazy fun.
True enough!

I'll play a game depending how I feel:

Solo:
  • super sneaky stealthy game
  • OR don't have to play so seriously/muck around
Squad:
  • Don't have to focus as much
  • Bigger gunfights instead of little skirmishes like in solo
but since I don't want to talk to anyone, I never have the voice chat on. Make that weird
I don't think thats an issue, I've played plenty of random squads with people that didn't have mic's or speak English and everyone in the team still knows whats up even if no one speaks (or you can't understand them)... I don't think I've ever had a team that was annoyed if someone didn't speak or use their mic etc.
Its actually a pretty surreal experience when NO ONE in the team talks but you still are pretty tactical and work together well

Really? I do a mix of squad and solo in PUBG...

Usually I just do auto matching for squads so teaming up with 3 other randoms can be either super fun or super frustrating. But if I cant be bothered with looking out for other people, landing in places I don't like etc. I'll do a solo which can always still be fun... Only done one duo match ever.

Played about 5 rounds of PUBG today... About 4 of those rounds were those annoying matches where you don't see anyone for like most of the match and then get sniped out of no where. Equally frustrating as it is fun.
