Whenever I search through the map vault for some good cs maps, it's always a pain that I can't find how many players a map supports. I search for maps to be put on a server, but I have to make sure they're 32 person maps. So I usually either end up downloading the map and hoping for the best, or having to bother the creator with questions about how many people can fit in this map. I think it would be so much easier if in multiplayer maps in the map vault, there was a "supported players" section in the details about the map.

I was reading thru the "Mapping Tips" tutorial and I came across the idea of applying the "clip" texture to all non-visable faces, to cut down on comiling time. I attempted this on my map and recieved a mixed face contents error. Is there any way to have a clip texture on part of a brush? If not, how are the maps in CS made so that you can't see the other side of the brush?

I don't know how to make the cars ( but i think its func_train (maybe))

but a suggestion...instead of the door opening, how about the car crashes through the wall? more interesting that way :P

I was just wondering if i had to create every brush on that bridge individually, or if there was an easier way. and if i do have to make the individual brushes, how do i make the slanted ones?

I'm new to both this site and mapping in general. When I was setting up my Hammer configurations (using the tutorials I found here), I could not seem to find the texture files anywhere on my computer. I did a search for the files and nothing came up. I looked in my C:Program FilesSteamSteamApps~account name~condition zerovalve folder and there were no texture files. Am I looking in the wrong spot? If not, can someone please provide me with a link to where I can download these texture files?
