Ok I am using Counter-Strike, a strange thing happens when I write r_drawwievmodel 0 "the hands" dissappear, but when I close the console and click resume game they reappear.

When you start you see "your own hands" and your gun. That is what I want to remove.

Hi I plan to take some screenshots of my map.

I wonder if there is a command I can use to remove the gun and hands so that I could get a clean screenshot?

Hi

I have put hostages behind doors and to make it impossible for the hostages to escape on their own I put a trigger_multiple outside the door so that when someone walks over it the door opens, but is there a way to make it so that it will only activate when CT activates it. So that T doesn't accidentaly activate it.

Hi

This really drives me crazy.
when you start a level in CSS you only get 800 even if you set the start money to 16000 or 100.
I trawled the net after contacting valve with no useful answer.
And found that I could use a command called mp_dynamicpricing 0 it worked one time and I though at last my problem was solved I was able to change the startmoney to whatever I wanted, but something strange happend, the next time I tried to put mp_dynamicprice to 0 I wasn't able to change the startmoney , it stays at 800 with dynamicprice set to 0 or 1.

I'm going crazy here, people have suggested putting it in the startupline, valve.rc,autoexec.cfg, server.cfg, listenserver.cfg, but nothing seems to work.

As suggested by users of this forum I start a new thread.

How far should the player spawn points be apart?

I have 32 spawnpoints in my map, I have checked that they dont touch each other or any brushes, but it seem when I try to play the map with 32 players there is always someone who dies because someone else is spawning on top of them.

I have also seen players getting stuck in the floor even if they dont touch the floor, I have some players that is more close to the floor that don't get stuck.

I tried to lift them even more off the floor but they still get stuck, and the funny is they usually get stuck on the second round and out.

Hi

I have made a couple of maps for CS, but I have not found out how I can decide what scene that is shown under the menu when the map is loaded.

I have seen nice scenes in other maps, and even some that have several scenes like a slide show.

How do I do this?

I seem to have leaks , I am able to load the pointfile in hammer, but it don't make much sense, I understand most people use the pointfile in the game but I onlu get an error when trying to load the point file the error is couldn't open maps/mymap.pts

Hi

I am pretty new to mapping, I have made a few test maps.

I seem to have a problem with lights especially light_environment and light_spot set to is_sky

I have a room I want to have bright even light in I tried both light options but It is toally dark, If I turn off is_sky on the spot I can see some light but it is just in one spot of the room. So my entety is inside the room.

I dont have a skybox I only want a bright lighted closed room.
