I have my map and i just realised i dont want some of the WADs that ihave in my hammer setup but have already compiled with those WADs (even though i havent used them) how can i not need these WADs to run my map in other words compile them without those WADs?

ok, i added a room and corridor to my map... i go and compile it and when it compiles it just comes up in the map as the last compile, no new corridor or anything! plz help!

(counter life 6.0 uses its custom .fgd but they have not released 6.0)

u must get zoner compile tools they are much better

(something kool i have found... having a skybox round my relatively small map took the visability matrix to 3.4 meg now without it takes 1.4 meg)

i am getting a new 'state-o-the-art' computer soon so my compile times will shorten considerably then

Neat, better planned mapping does more to reduce compile times than a quick machine. (ed:Andy)

i have figured out the perfect night of mapping and will do it when i get my new computer...

8 pm - go to local shops and buy 10 litres of cola

8:30 pm - drink 3 short blacks

9 pm - start mapping

9 pm to 8 am - map while taking drinks of your caffeine ridden cola

8 am onwards - fall asleep...

8 pm - do it again!

its not really a ripoff i just worded it wrong.... they have basically taken the mp and made it a sp game... so its trying to feed of its success.. dont get me wrong, i love cs and cant wait till launch day but its only to see these new bots...

yeh oh well.. ppl give condition zero a chance! .. actually no dont, cos the singleplayer is a rip off of the multiplayer, but im hoping the new multiplayer for it will be better (atm it looks only graphic wise)
