OK, I'm pretty sure there is no tutorial on how to make a scientist say something or Barney to say something or the Gman etc... I know it uses the ascripted_sentence enitity but I dont know exactly HOW to make them say something through that.

Switch models. Go find the model you want and switch it with the gordon model in the players folder. Ha, Ive made myself look like an Islave before. it was awesome.

How many of you have ADD, just a quesion. i mean no offense. I do, but I dont take medicine for it. I dont need medicine. I think ADD is too common today to be called a "disorder". Almost everyone I know has it.

The completed maps vault is getting very big. Someone needs to go through and delete all the horrible maps submitted by users who joined for 2 seconds and then left or maps that were just plain bad.

The people at the Supehero Mod website are real jerks. I posted 3 of the ost popular custom heros on my server and they rejected them without even checking them out first. Then they started asking if the admin would ban me.

I hate it when people post the whole compile process. Can't you just post where the problem is?

They should post the whole compile... One of the Admins will reducve the size of it once we find the problem, but until then, the whole compile log is the only way to see ALL the problems ed:(Andy)

No no no. I have actually done this before and it really works. Lets say you have a big block of.. whatever texture, grass lets say. To get the paper thinner than 1 unit, here's how. To get it to be one unit thick you start the brush ABOVE the block of grass and move the top part of the paper down, am I correct? well if you actually start the brush inside the grass block itself and make it thin by thinning it out UPWARD (towards the surface of the grass) then you have a peice of papaer with no thickness. It will loook like its blending into the grass in 3D view mode but its VERY visible in the real map.

You cant run a map using custom wads without the wad in your folder if thats what your asking. Wads arent moved with the compiled map anyway.

Ok, Counter Life used Counter Strike's weapons for the half Life game by using a modified client.dll. Can I put 2 client.dll's in the folder and have both the weapons from cs AND half life at the same time, in the same mod? Oh please don't tell me I have to code this junk.

Ylou have to go to chnge avatart and upload enw avatar from the list of deafaults. For some stupid reason the upload personal avatart button doesnt work. Or if you mean it doesnt show up as soon as you upload it, it takes a while to show up. Move around the website for a while then it should come up.

Replacing models with models that arent meant to be that model doesnt work. In case you didnt notice all the animations turned to the shooting anuimation. the idle, shotting, reloading and draw. Its just stupid.

First map.... icegalaxy for half life online. Its the same as my de-icegalaxy only with the weapons spread out and, obviously, its for half Life. but I didnt know how to set up the compiling so I gave up.

Actually, to tell the truth, I wasnt planning on being a member here for very long when I first logged in. I do play a mod of it though called The Matrix-Rayne. Pepper, you should play that. You can do bullet time and be neo/our hero/other matrix characters/SHINOBI!/....... Actually I think everyone here would like that game. It seems like eveyone today is finding a way to pu the matrix into something. Anyway, the game itself is still in beta mode. but its complete enough to do pretty much anything.

Oh! Krinkles is making Madnees combat 4 for all you guys that actually care but havent seen the news. Theres a trailor for it at www.madnesscombat.com. Man, his is got to be the biggest chain of forum spamming I have ever done.... tisk tisk tisk. (slaps self in the face)

Decals dont come up in the compiled map. You'll probably need to put brushes in place of the decals.

Replacing models downt work. It looks like turd. All the sequenses only do the attack. I have switched many models and it changes the reload/idle/all the other stuff that aent attack and makes them look like they are shooting.
