i have counter strike source, and i wanted to make some gg_maps with source textures and everything but have no idea how. i have preloaded half life one textures for now until i find others but entities and objects wise i have almost nothing. my problem for this thing is that i cant mould terrain because 'face sheet edit' is 'face properties' with less functionality. i have both source SDK's and the normal one wont start, base does. can anyone link me source terrain and things?

hey again,

im having problems now with making terrain. i have been reading the source beginner terrain tutorial, and it fails form the start. i made a block, and hit shift+a to birng up face sheet edit...this guys one is different. mine is a small simpler box 'face properties' which has similar yet less functions. there are no tabs with materials and displacement or anything..is this a older version of hammer? what can i do

oh also, i plan to have portals in it.. how do i come about that? wouldnt it be like, when you walk into a block face you trigger a current player x, y, z position move to another x, y, z? i dont know really...

hey guys

just wondering, i have a load of preset prefabs, how do i make my own / put downloaded ones in?
also
i have read up on some tutorials but canot find out how to work spawnpoints... iv seen something about like, info_player_start in the lists, which i have, but no info_spawn_counterterrorist or anything as such.
one more thing..
how can i make my own textures and put them in? if i have pics of terrain and stuff, how would i compile a heap of them into a .wad?
