Whenever I use Zoner's Tools, the map doesnt actually compile. It just skips everything ad jumps striaght into the cstrike.exe....without even creating a bsp! How can I fix that?

the folder is not sierra/half-life/cstrike, it is sierracounter-strikecstrike.

I followed what the tutorials on how to embed selected textures in my map, but it did NOTHING. I even tried the one that put ALL the textures in the map, but still NOTHING. If anyone wouldn't mind to do it for me, please tell me because I really need help here. Everything is done but the texture problem is keeping me from playing online with others.

Hey guys. I just completed my first map in Valve Hammer but when I run it in Steam, the guns that I have placed on the floor don't even show up!!! It works in the old Counter Strike (testing) but in Steam, its not even there. For some reason the kevlar and grenade work just fine, but none of the guns!! Please help :zonked:.

Why does the breakable object in my map crash when its broken and explodes? Why does the explosion cause my map to crash, with a "Fatal Error" occuring? And when I say "explosion" i mean the "Explode Magnitude" under func_breakable. Is there a way of leaving my explosion in without having my whole game crash? And its not my vid settings, I tried. Please help me out.....Thanks! :D

OK i figured it out LOL im such a n00b! I didnt really compile it....lol so all i did was compile it in expert mode, put in the steam's map folder and it worked on steam!!!!! :D

Hey guys. Whenever I load up my map in my server on steam, I get an error saying "Fatal Error: lightmap for texture aaatrigger too large (2 x 447 = 894 luxels); cannot exceed 324." Then the game crashes. I guess there may be a simple way of solving this, but I am a super NOOB lol. This is may first map too. Can someone PLEASE help me out. Thanks.

hey guys. i just wanted to know how to limit weapons on the counter strike map im tryin to make. it is a knifing map and im trying to make the players in the map have no weapon but a knife and is not able to buy anything. the only time they can have a weapon is if they reach the top of the map where there are weapons laying there

and, oh yeah, how do u have weapons on the floor.....like on "fy_" maps......
