Actually Archie, when it comes to MP wpolys still matter even on good hardware because the engine slows down there and you get MS/higher latency/lag.

Nah, mostly used the submerged.wad with some edits by Jpolito.
I only created the Nod Window textures. I did that scene in less than 60 min... I sure could do better but lazy you know :P

Maybe doing a second map, not sure yet. If so it will be a xen island from hl1 sp. Just a quick testing of how to use the xen textures.

Archie mhhh, the red brick walls everywhere make the map look different.. in a bad way, atleast for me.

Guys, i´m proud you are all doing great stuff ! Thats lovely to see some action again. I´m up for any further mapping compos :) It´s fun!

Also Doc-Rock great style and work on your map!
I love the Nuke launching.
You can still improve the texturework/brushwork a lot on the map. I dislike the Black/Red Walls and some other textures mhh... also black only for ladders and some borders? :/

I´m sure you can do better !

I planed some gameplay testings this weekend, so if anyone want to join the test, just pm me and you are invited + get the mapdownload in time.

Archie´s Map is amaizing and he is now able to do even more, sometimes are second person watching over some work, can really help finding problems/mistakes that you may forgot about because they are just small.

I don´t see it as a challange, I´m happy if we can create a good mappack as community :)

I know that feeling too, I started mapping with 10. Now I´m 29.. so yeah there are still features and stuff I never know about, even after all this.

And yeah try to finish something, I have this perfection problem and stop releasing stuff that is nearly 95% done but than something turns out bad. Anyway.
