I'm not sure if you know what acronyms are, or letters for that matter, but in the real world PM stands for post meridiem. That's latin for "after noon". If I recall correctly, and I doubt anyone will tell me I'm wrong, 8:30 PM is at night.

I actually had to watch the Meet the Scout video again after reading what the shirt meant. It's too awesome.

And that's what I thought, too, Strider. I don't think they would push such a large update to one day, though.

Force-A-Nature has potential, but I'm really iffy.

It sounds like a scattergun combined with a compression blast, aka really annoying.

Also, looks like the new Payload map and gamemode is one in the same. No Hunted for us :(

I also kinda like the voting thing. I voted for Force-A-Nature, just because it has the most potential for getting more achievements.

We already knew there was no Meet the Team video, as they never said there was going to be.

Very disappointed with the new map, cp_Egypt. I've played it several times, and each time I hate it. Valve needs to get their heads outta their asses and start adding stuff that is good.

They can only make up with this by adding Hunted.

Also lets us know the next unlock is called "Force-A-Nature", and has some sort of kickback.

It also hints that it acts like the pyro compression blast when fired, so it may be promising.

I've been seeing things that it's a double barreled shotgun. It either has blastback damage, or it just pushes you back.

I think this is their attempt at replacing the double jump. Instead of completely losing it, you might just have to fire into the ground and get a little damage.

We'll see, though. This isn't proven yet.

I thought this was interesting. I realize people found exploits, but was it that severe?

EDIT: I just found out what the exploit actually was. Apparently using the loadout screen, people could use other class' weapons with any other class. Sounds hilarious.

Yah, I'm not sure why they're still pushing that. And not even sure why people are mapping for it. It's such as waste of time.

I saw a few thumbnail pictures, but can't really give a bigger opinion on the maps as they website is loading very slow.

EDIT: Finally saw the screenshots. Don't get me wrong, they're gorgeous maps, but I'll probably never play them.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I need someone with a definitive answer.

As for nodraw, after a test, it does indeed block light.

Another observation I made:
My second question is basically trying to pull of what is done on Dustbowl in TF2. When you're in one area, if you look over a mountain, you won't see the next area. You see the skybox, and that's it.

I did impulse 107 on the wall, and it's still a skybox texture. This doesn't make sense because because when I did the same thing it didn't work.

Any suggestions?

(Gotta love the title cut-off. You'd think a character limit for the text box would be in place.)

This is two different questions, so try to bear with me.

First, is there a way to block vis but not light?

I want something to work much the same way the null texture in GoldSource works, but I can't find anything on the subject.

Second, I need to block the player's view. The catch is, though, it has to render the skybox where the brush is.

I tried using the skybox texture, but it still renders objects past it when looking at it from anywhere. I'm not sure how to explain it any other way.

I downloaded most of their shows and watched probably 90% of what they've come out with. Good show.

Not sure how accurate it is, or if there's a bias or not, but I don't really care. It's entertainment and I take it as such.

I still recommend it to anyone looking for some time wasters / just a show to keep with.

(Of course, if it's that case, just watch Lost.)

GI Joe looks like it could be pretty sweet, if done properly. Emphasis on done properly.

Coming from the director of The Mummy my hopes and expectations are extremely low.

It does come off as a decent movie, kinda like Transformers was. Just fun to watch, but really stupid if thought about.
