im sorry if this is a very simple thing and i sound like a total dumbass ^_^
what i want to do is make a wall that you can walk through.. like it looks solid but is almost 2D and intangable- sorry i dont have a flippin clue what they are called.
thanks for any help youd be willing to give.

To make the func_illusionary 2D aglin the null texture on some of the sides.
(Null texture is just invisable)
