Well, not really. But I wanted to come back, to try mapping in halflife 2 and haven't really done any maps, just playing around with the phsysics, which are great

CSS tree models can be imported over to HL2 but if you desire custom models then you 'could' use the tree prefab model that comes free with 'XSI' and compile it as long as you give rights to the maker...

The simple non-working way would be as they say above, use the default Valve models in the foliage folder.
