I have the cstrike.wad in my textures tab in my options for hammer, yet I dont recognize any of my textures from CS. I dont have the dust textures, the office textures, aztec, anything.... Does anyone know why they don't show up? Like if I go to view cs_office to see how its done, not a single texture remains. This may happen whether I have the textures or not, but I still do not have the textures mentioned above in my hammer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

If I understand what your saying your searching in hammer for 'cs_office' in the textures screen. The actual textures may not have 'cs_office' in the name. Try searching for just 'cs' or just look through all the textures without typing anything in the search box.

You must include the individual map .WADs, like de_dust's WAD is cs_dust.wad

Ahh... I see... Well that kind of sucks, lol. So it would be a bad idea to load them all, wouldn't it? Thanks Inventrex. I'll check that out.

No you don't have to include wads if the player has these wads then you don't. When you include them the player doesn't have to have the wad. To include a wad add a "-wadinclude <wad name>.wad" prameter(without the quotes) to the CSG program.(you don't have to add the wad's extention(.wad) but they did it with zhlt.wad so I do the same)

He means including them in the list of WADs used by Hammer, not including them in the bsp.

OKay, it's missing some of the textures like PI_OUTWALL2, PI_GROUND, PI_BIGBRK, and some others. Anyone know why they are missing or where they can be found?

No. I opened the de_aztec.wad and it doesn't have all the aztec textures for some reason?

They must be from another map, I guess, unless you're opening the wrong de_aztec.wad.

If you're talking about the new 1.6 de_aztec textures, then those aren't the new textures that are being used in 1.6. The textures being used are actually in de_piranesi.wad, and the textures in de_aztec.wad are still the old ones used in the 1.5 version.
