I don't know what I did to make it do that to me.

and also how do you make dead npcs?

Righto hmmm....

Do you have cubemaps in your map? The entity named 'env_cubemap'...
Your map needs this for proper reflective maps...Although I am not sure if this is the problem...You must also type 'buildcubemaps' in console everytime you compile.

To add dead NPC's make the entity named 'prop_ragdoll' and in properties assign the model to whatever dead NPC you want...

Wow, looks like some sort of post-screen filter applied only to models. Cool. :)

And yeah, probably a cubemaps problem, perhaps in combination with HDR or such. Happens only in your own maps or also in official maps?

Well at first I had HDR on for some reason, I turned it off, fixed a most of the things but no alyx, she seems to have weird arms and still has all the silver stuff there,

I'll try the cubemap thing and thanks for telling me how to do the dead npcs

EDIT:Only in mys maps so It must have been the HDR, I havent seen alyx in the normal maps so I'll have a look

I solved a problem like this earlier - its what happens when you compile HDR lighting in HL2. HDR is not supported in HL2 yet, just CS:S DOD:S, Lost Coast etc. So just untick HDR when you compile HL2 maps, It should fix it, otherwise flush your game (type flush in the console) this can solve graphical 'anomalies'. And, cool - another HL2 mapper!

Ok new problem, I just found that the zombies are still getting a heathy coat of silverish stuff. I might just mess around with a few things then see what I get

Build the cubemaps. Zombies have normal maps on them to make 'em appear slimy and whatnot now. Make sure you have cubemaps in your map and build them!
