Yeah, I am just wondering if anyone could explain this one to me. I have no idea what happened and I've never seen ANYTHING like this before.

Yeah this needs to be fixed so someone tell me how to get rid of it.

Those particles tell you that the info_node on that spot cannot "see" other info_nodes. Fix: Place two more info_nodes, and make sure that at least one info_node can "see" two other info_nodes.

Wow, I am very impressed. Thanks for the fix Muzz. There is only one other thing that I would like to ask though. Almost the same type of thing happens when I place certain monster_headcrabs in my maps. The particles floating around the headcrabs are yellow and are setup the same way. Does this revolve around the same issue and is there a fix?

The monster is stuck in the wall.

Place a info_node that has no straight line of view with others

Keep in mind that these effects may not show up for normal players - we mappers tend to have 'developer' set to 1 or 2 and often have cheats and certain other vars enabled. Be sure to test with default settings. ;)

Captain P:
  • we mappers
What do you mean?

( bah nvm fore info_node... me I'm a cs mapper, I didn't even know what does info_node. You don't put monsters on cs... )

Simple, 'we mappers' = we, who map. Or in general, anyone who creates levels.

See, mappers often have cheats and such enabled to make testing maps easier.

The ones who build maps.

.... I know, but you said that after I asked my question, so it's look like you say "us we are mapper, you you're nothing." With an air of gay, but that is something else to make jokes... in reality it's more funny... : :glad: , but nvm... :

Oh, it wasn't meant like that. I just called the critter by it's name... ;)
