It's got a minor background story (not telling!) and hopefully alot of custom content, so far iv'e started work on some custom skins for the npc's, some texture work and a little mapping work. For those who are wondering 'Ataxia' is both a muscle problem and a word for chaos/disorder. Sanctuary means.. well you should all know what that is.
The plan so far is to have the core gameplay based around traps and puzzles with the occasional fight thrown in for good measure, aiming for around 3 - 4 maps thus far. It's all in it's VERY early stages so far, here are some WIP screens: A reskinned Citizen as a slighly rotted corpse (not a zombeh!) The Fast Zombie reskinned to look more old/decayed, custom sounds are currently being applied to it. What's this? Oh it's a nice little floorswitch, no biggy.
Things planned for mod:
- Numerous custom sounds (Npc's, weaponry and ambience);
- Reskinned Antlions and weaponry;
- Some models from C-strike because they suit it so well;
- No sprint/aux power function;
- Healing pools rather than medkits;
- Very little weaponry picked up (1 melee, 1 gun, possibly 1 other special type of weapon)
I may need some help further down the track so keep an eye out ok? Progress updates will be infrequent due to a severe lack of work-time recently. What do you think so far? Constructive criticism welcome.
