I have some questions i would like to have som answers to :)

1: Is there any way to create real looking trees in halflife? (I've seen the tut here about trees, but i'm looking for trees like in "Afraid of Monsters" mod.".

2: Ive followed the tut about Security cards, and everything looks right, but the door that is supposed to be shut and be opened by the key card, can be opened like a regular door. I don't understand.

Hope you can answer these. :)

you can try using models for the trees, if not, just make a bunch of cylenders sticking out of eachother, make the trunk a world brush and the branches func_walls. then find a nice texture for the leaves, just look out the window (assuming you have trees outside) for inspiration.

About the keycard door, make sure you have the proper flags ticked. what those flags are, i dont know, but try some out.

Use a cycler_sprite, specifying the model name in the Sprite field :).

And another question:
Where can i edit the skin to gordon and the suit? Can't find him in "models"

It's never going to be that, is it, because not everyone has it installed there.

Of course it was just an example, what he's saying is that it wouldn't use the whole directory name, because not everybody has Half-Life installed in that directory.

So, you wouldn't use anything except "models/tree.mdl" because that directory has to be there. Get it?

And to answer your other question, those models are in the .pak file.

oh, sorry about that.

I was also wondering if i can use one of the CS models (players) in a costum mod?

im not sure if you would be able to just re-name and move the model, but im pretty sure you'll just have to re-skin an existing model. im assuming the human_grunts?
