Finally played through Ep1. While I prefer games as a long run rather than in episodes, I must say I'm not disappointed. Not at all. Valve managed to put some good fun in the game, and the commentary mode provides interesting insight in the process - I'd recommend all mappers or actually, level-designers, to listen to these comments.

Ya, Valve came up with some ingenius ideas in this one. Like using your light for Alyx to shoot the enemies. You can also flip the antlions so Alyx does more damage. Things like that were all throughout the game.

For those who have turned on Steam you will have noticed Valve updated the EP2 trailer containing a bridge realistically falling, how the Hunters work, in-game footage etc. Also shows Vorts with new attacking ability and HDR enabled.
