I tried to install a cracked Quake 3 once, and it b0rked something up with Windows, forcing me to back up everything with Knoppix, and reinstall Windows. Huge waste of time. :

I can't say for sure it was actually Quake 3 that caused it, but I want to blame something.

Yeah, 3rd party clients like BitLord are unnecessary afaik, just do as Daub said--or just google search and tack torrent on the end of it.

Just use the default BitTorrent software for download/upload.

I think the message is clear. Get a good BitTorrent client and find it on a Bay that is populated with Pirates. Cough.
m0p m0pIllogical.

Lolz rowleybob is stoopad. Probably an opera user at that.

And yes, it is a valid fact that uTorrent is the best BitTorrent client around.

I think that if you bought the game you can mail your CD-key to Q3 support (or from the store you bought it) and get a new CD.
Therefore you won't need to download it illegally, myth or truth? ( :o )

Bitcomet torrent progarm + btjunkie website

BTjunkie was found in a study (slashdot linked it a while back) to be the largest torrant site, and the same survey bitcomet had the most useable features.

But The Pirate Bay has the most cozy feeling and funny letters from angry people, not to mention media coverage :) .

I've always found whatever I was looking for--mostly just music-- by typing the group/album name + torrent--avec Google.

If finding exactly what I'm looking for makes me "stoopad" ZL, well then stoopad's ok with me ;)

Since you all recommend them so highly, no point in not trying them out though... uTorrent turn [on] off

That's not stupid, rowley, but using the default bittorent client is.

Yes, but what is this "stealing" you speak of. I've never noticed any drag when using the default thingie, but I have a very fast conx too...

I'm still going to try uTorrent the next time the need arises, but I'm just curious why the default client is so bad.
DO NOT USE THE DEFAULT CLIENT.

Any decent BitTorrent client will allow you to modify max upload/download speeds. I usually let it use whatever's available, unless I'm playing an online game. Warez ftw.
