Check this riddle/puzzle out. It got me confused for about half an hour trying to figure out what the answer to it was. It's so satisfying knowing the answer afterwards.

As the article states, people in the know should not tell people who are not in the know. They should only taunt them with their superior knowledge :)

I'll be able to know if you know the answer to the riddle if you can give me the answer to this roll. PM or something to avoid having to put up fresh rolls.

Too easy to cheat if you're doing this online. Wikipedia answers everything, remember?
Posted 17 years ago2006-12-02 21:38:23 UTC Post #204878
oh, and fourthgen, you have to say that the answer is 10. The challenge is to figure out how you get the answer.

Man, what a cinch. :P

Answer to fourthgen's roll is ten. The site fourthy linked to makes it very clear what you're looking at.

Well, the whole riddle is a lot more fun when it's done in real life :P Confusing people is fun, no matter what.

Posted 17 years ago2006-12-03 08:37:52 UTC Post #204895

Admitidly it had me stumped for a while, its a funny little quirky game. I was on the right track by the time I finished reading it but my pure lazyness gave in and I just googled the asnwer.

Annoyingly I was so close with my train of thought before I looked it up as well.

damn.. this distracted me from work for 30 minutes.

Heh damn my illogical mind >.<

I thought the whole point is that artistic types get this a lot quicker than scientific types that try to find a method behind the madness

Good point. I consider my mind to be more mathmatical than artistic.
It also explains that Ant is one of those granola crunching art hippies.

Cool, I only figured it out after a coupld clues, one clue in general helped the most. Anyone know of anything else like this? I guess if you take the reverse it would also be it's own game.

Jobabob: Makes sense. I'm definately more artistic than scientific.

Urbane?

Reminds me of college. My tutor used to say it like [Urb-Ain-Byu-Lah]

Pronounciation:

Urbanebula [Urb-An-Eh-Byu-Lah]

Anyway, back on topic. I've only got 2 dice but I wanna get some more so I can try this on my Fiancee. Its fun to confuse people as fourthgen said.
