So, we've decided that we're going to refer to our unborn child as Lamarr, after the stunning beauty and inventor Hedy Lamarr, of course.

Any Half-Life 2 references are purely coincidental.

No shit? Really? That's like, the kind of thing people joke about, but... Nobody actually names heir child after a video game character/creature in real life, right?

If so, you've been proven to be much more of a geek than I ever expected. Congratulations! You deserve this special trophy!

I was just kicked out of a pregnancy forum, by a bunch of angry pregnant ladies who think I am a troll posing as a doctor.

They think I am a fourteen-year-old gamer who trolls their pregnancy forum for kicks.

As if sore boobs and menstrual cramps are fun for me.

They didn't believe me even though some of them sought medical advice from me about their babies.

Maybe it's the hormones, but they could be quite bitchy.

O rly? Hunter. Did you know that "Breen" is a surname?

Lucky kid though, his father is a deep-gamer and also a doctor. He/she has the ability to not go to school with just a piece of paper that his/her father can write. :)
Posted 17 years ago2007-01-05 17:45:54 UTC Post #208703
I'm surprised nobody has suggested to name the kid Isaac yet.

Uhm...yeah.

Did you know that "Freeman" is also a surname?

Who the fuck mentioned calling it Wallace Breen anyway? Hunter was just pointing out who I was refering to.

Isaac is such a cool name. I don't know anyone in real life by the name of Isaac. Someone should spawn one. I would but my Fiancee and I have already agreed on names for when the time comes.

Theres a thread on here somewhere. It was in the local paper.

Oh and yes a surname is a last name. Like a Forename is a first name.

http://twhl.co.za/forums.php?action=viewthread&str=urban+news&type=1&pg=1&id=10527

Yup there it is. Just ignore the crap photo in the paper and look at the better one further down. :)

Hey Satch? When your young'un is old enough to operate a keyboard will you let him/her come on to TWHL. We promise we'll only warp him/her a little.

Of course!

I'll tell her/him "This is how daddy grew up and became a weirdo/supergeek".
He/she has the ability to not go to school with just a piece of paper that his/her father can write. smile - :)
Except that it'll never happen. Unless my child is on an artificial breathing machine, she/he will be going to school.

I think I missed one day of school in ten years.
