How do you take a screenshot in the game, I cant seem to figure it out.

Once you've done that, they're saved into either the Half-Life or Valve directory, depending on whether you're using Steam or the original Sierra version. They're saved in BMP format, so make sure you resize them and convert them to JPG with an ample amount of compression before posting them online, eh?

PrtScrn works too, although it doesn't create a file for you. You'll have to press Ctrl + V in an image editing app. I prefer doing it this way 'cause it doesn't create an unessicarily large bmp on my HDD.

True, although you can't take multiple screenshots quickly without pausing and minimizing the game if you do it Caboose's way.

I use Cabooses method myself, mainly as not all games have a proper screenshot button but printscreen works for them all

You can also type "screenshot" in console but that takes a screenie of the console 2. It should be f5 or bind it to a key.

SysRq means sytem request and doesn't really do anything at all. It's a leftover from old machines where you used it to... request shit, I guess.
