Urb, same texture for the ceiling and floor FTL. Other than that, looks nice.

Also, that website is hella ugly. Do you need a page designed?

I would use the lgtning.spr sprite for those beams, since its electricity. The laserbeam.spr is usually used for, guess what, laser beams, and many other beam styles, but lgtning.spr is best used for electricity beams.

But thats just a personal taste. :)

no, I mean method, eg. Teleport, train, door, hallway, series of events, anything, etc.

I can script anything, just tell me what you want, be it complex or simple.

Haha that looks great. The glow and everything. Perhaps if you haven't planned this like in all adventure type games or movies the prize is sitting on a mechanised block that unfolds or rises and opens to the player giving him / her the prize.

Also perhaps add a sprite glow or something that adds to that green light.

I'm trying out the whole 'see your goal long before you actually reach it' technique. It looks good.

You can see the crystal from windows in the observation style corridor i posted a while back.

Ok, scrapped most other stuff, but will probably end up recycling it. This time, I know what I'm doing. More than last time.

Instead of finding all the electronics in a cupboard at the end, which is unrealistic, the player has to get separate parts from wiring boxes - eight of them. Catches are, they have to get the ones furthest from the exit to the hub to avoid electrocuting themselves, and some removing some electronics will help and hinder them, e.g. removing a particular part disables some security doors that slammed against you when you tried to come the other way, but also disables the elevator you need to use.

Shows the airlock entrance to the maps, exit to the hub is behind. Of course, vents will be provided so that the player can still get out after he's shut down the airlock's power. (Hence the green light on the doors.)

@Kinrah: Looking at that screenshot that needs a lot of work, I see there is a little puzzle in there . Nice :)

I dont know if that is a WIP screenshot but I'm going to point out some problems.
Architecture in that map looks really plain, add some complex computers with some data scrolling at their screen or machines with wires at the side of the walls perhaps? Also do something with that roof, add some pipes and vents maybe? Or some emergency lights.

Lighting seems boring. Add some light_spots with also sprites set to glow. That may make it more interesting.

Sajo - well, that was from only the second time through the compile (first time had a light on which made it appear fullbright). So yeah, it needs touching up a bit.

Oh, and I assume that when we're all finished with custom textures they'll be combined into one WAD? Or will we just include them in the BSPs?

No idea whether or not i'm still working on this.

I've got enough done to consider finishing it, but.. we'll see how it goes. Work is kinda hectic at the moment so it's sucking up my will to do anything in my own time.

If I decide not to finish it, i'll release my custom shiz for others to put to use.
