I just can't select on the 3D view, only on 2D. I'm running Windows Vista 32bit and Valve Hammer v3.4.

He cannot select brushes in the 3D viewport, it's quite odd.

Oh, I thought you meant in-game, since you put that map in the vault. Is the problem only confined to that map? Otherwise, I don't see the point of it.

The problem is with Vista. Some bright spark at Microsoft decided to drop full support for OpenGL. It works fine on XP.

you must change your Operating system to XP its better or if your just comfortable with selecting in 2d then vista will work fine
