Hey there, last night I experienced the most bs since i started gaming, in cs 1.6 on the map demo_derby2 i think, i hit a guy with a glock 10 times, and did 28 damage, he was far away but still how is that possible. After a long time ranting to my friend I realized it might be fun to post it here, and hear about your guys' most shameful or proud moments. btw my most proud are 700 some odd damage with a knife headshot strafing down the hill on ka_incline2 or surviving two awp hits, with like 2 hp left. btw these moments were with normal hp and stuff. okay so post your moments, and have screens if possible. Sneaking up to knife someone in DoD when you KNOW you should kill them right away is alwyays fun, except of course when:

1. they hear you
2. turn around quick
3. noscope you in the face.

(This happens to me a lot)

No-scoping someone yesterday in Bad Company at relatively long range.

a few reasons why this is a bit more out of the ordinary...
1. He was shooting at me, you die fast in that game...
2. No matter what, you pretty much HAVE to have a neck/headshot to 1 hit kill a guy, and he had just seen his local medic.
3. I really didn't try, I just saw my health draining, freaked out, spun a bit, and blew off a round, and my health stopped dropping...
Posted 16 years ago2008-08-05 13:38:46 UTC Post #253338
There was only 1 good score on that whole list, Penguinboy. You should be ashamed.

My win moments are whenever I play TF2.
My fail moments are whenever I'm not playing TF2.

That's about right.

its this one for me. playing guildwars in the pvp arena. the pic i got is 125 wins but we actually got over 140 consecutive wins. had to stay up all night to keep winning and i actually called in sick to work so i could keep playing. until we all just decided we could never lose. it was a blast. i wish i could find my final score screenshot. oh well.

Proudest gaming moment was on CS:S quite a while back. CS_Italy, me on the CS team and I was the last guy left and there were 5 of them. Long story short, i managed to kill them all with the Deagle in the house with the hostages in. It felt good.

Then the next round started and I sucked. I guess it was just luck.

oh and one where i was dominating half the other team

i don't know about whether this falls into either end of the spectrum, but when i played C&C3 against grim, i got massively owned by the biggest scrin carrier rush ever D:

Man, according to those score screen shots some of you guys posted, I am way out of my league here! That's why I don't play on Xbox Live that much any more. The only FPS games that I have ever played were Half Life 2, Doom 3 and Halo 1,2,3 all on the Xbox 360, and got my ass handed over to me half of the time. But now, when it comes to racing games, that's where I shine! Example: On the original Xbox, the RalliSport Challenge game, I finished the whole game winning all the races on 1st. place!

2 days ago I was playing NS, and I was sucking bad. I was on the alien team and we were pinned down. I rushed the front line as a Skulk and did a Xenocide explosion, ultimately killing 8 out of 13 people on the marine team. We broke through and won the game shortly after.

My final kills and deaths were 8 and 44 :/

Doom 3, Halo 2 & Halo 3 are probably the worst FPS games i've ever played.

Years ago when I first got Halo, my brother, two friends, and I would play 2v2 system link all the time. One game on sidewinder I made an across the map shot with the sniper that pierced both my friends heads. Then I did it again ten minutes later, same game. Try THAT with a controller.

I've never done it twice in a game again.

My worst gaming experiences? The few times I've tried DDR.

Damn, I thought for a second you were going to say to get myself a PS3! Anyway, I did say that I have Half-Life 2 for the Xbox 360 besides the other two games you don't like. And as for getting a PC, I do have one, but I mostly play those online Java or Shockwave games. Now, I am thinking about getting some kind of real time strategy (RTS) game, like Command & Conquer or Supreme Commander or something like that. Any ideas what to get in the RTS category?

I was once tooling around in CS on some Dust server (this was back when I still tolerated CS), and it was probably 30 seconds into the game when the entire opposing team somehow miraculously got stuffed into the same room. Anyway, I hadn't played for quite a long time, but the gaming gods must have been watching over me. I took all five or six of them head on with an AK in that cramped up little room and they all went down within the space of four seconds. I hadn't taken any damage. Everyone on the server thought I was some kind of CS god that played ten hours a day, but I never did anything really noteworthy after that.

best moment:

Playing with my clan BF2 on Gulf of Oman the 64 sized map. I was an MEC guy and 3 others of my clan where the USA. They were capturing a position(fishing village, most western CP) whilst i had dropped bombs there, no damage, but they shot me down, i parachuted out of the plane, and they lost sight of me, i got right in front of the Abrahams tank and dropped to the ground. I shot the 2 infantry guys running around there, and then used my AT rockets to blow up the tank, you can imagine that they were a tad bit pissed that one AT guy prevented the capture of a point. Offcourse, i was rather lucky..

World In Conflict is THE best RTS out there.

It depends on which Age of Empires you are referring to
I was in an online game in AOE II a few years back, i had a small little town defended by a couple bombard towers and a castle or 2..
Anyway
The opposing team, the damn franks, came over to my base with 9 trebuchets and a whole crapload of archers.
Took down all my towers within 2 minutes, but i sent a slew of paladins monks after them
i converted all the trebuchets, and killed all the archers, turned around and completely obliterated the dude.
He said i cheated. :-\

I recommend:

Command and Conquer - Depending on which you pick up, it probably can be ran by your computer.

Total Annihilation - The best RTS I've ever played, personally. Great gameplay. Me and my brothers used to have tournaments with this all the time.

Company of Heroes - Second best RTS ever. Well, TA and CoH probably tie.

best moment: Socom 2 online: i was on the terrorist team and had a shotgun and about 30 seconds left to either kill all hostages or wipe out the whole entire enemy team of 5 players. for some reason we all met as i was rushing through their spawn and i managed to blast all 5 of them away with a lot of strafing, random jumping, going prone and spamming. Was glorious, especially in the high grass :>

worst moment: also in Socom 2 online: i, as the last guy alive against one other guy from their team, planted the bomb and ran away to hide. he started to defuse and was looking at the damn ground, so i decided to take out my pistol and try to headshot him. i must have hit him in the shoulder or some shit because he simply looked up, sprayed me and defused the bomb. "Tool of the day" as one of my teammates commented.

Socom 2 was awesome....sad thing that everyone started hacking online =[

another pretty awesome experience is always playing starcraft against one of my friends. he's insanely fast in setting up so i usual end up having to (succesfully) ward off never ending attacks with some meager forces in a relatively small base against an onslaught of zerg. =]

(Age of Chivlary)

I made my team lose the round by blocking the spawn door for 15 minutes, and there was 13 people on it.

Now srsly:

CS 1.5 , playing with my friends on a LAN, 7 people per team or so. All my team got killed(Ts) and only 1 CT died on cs_assault, then I killed all the rest of CTs less one, that one took the hostages and he was very near from the rescue zone with a M4 and full of life, me with like 25 HP. He sprayed me like an asshole and I deagled him in the head through the hostages, without touching anyone of them.
Posted 16 years ago2008-08-08 17:59:12 UTC Post #253478
There was this time.

...and this time.

But the most memorable moments occurred when I was playing CSS. I was the last man on the CT team, and I killed two T's guarding the bomb and defused the bomb before it blew up.

Another time, I played 1v1 on a pub CSS server with a guy with an AWP. He thought he was so cool. I circled around the map and PWNd him with a knife behind his back.
