Do trigger_changelevels always need to be facing east? From one map to another the direction of the player shifts from east to north, but the player seems to face east no matter what direction i set him.

I totally thought you could change the direction of the player by adjusting the angle keyvalues for either the 1st or the second changelevel(can't remember which) but maybe i imagined it?

Also, when i change the compass direction i get the error: "entity contains unused keyvalues".

trigger_changelevels can face any direction (if you're talking about the compass thingy in the properties dialog).

Changing the compass direction is points, and doesn't do anything. That explains that error, because i doesn't matter.

Ah so whatever direction your walking is the direction you'll come out on the other side? for example if your heading east in map 1, there is no way to switch you north when you come out in map 2?

If this is true i'll have to rotate tetus0's whole map to connect the hallway from Rim's map, or i'll have to redesign the hallway...

I believe that you remain facing in the same direction as you do when you activate the trigger_changelevel. So for example, if you enter the trigger_changelevel facing west, the next map will load with you also facing west. This allows for a seamless transition between maps.

why rotate the map, bend the hallway around so its right. curve it like a question mark is curved. As an example, i will kindly provide one.
