Looks like a map from OpFor. I think one of the first places where you get to meet those alien troopers.

Bah, I don't know the map name, but its opfor, somewhere in "surface tension"
Beyond that steam, a bunch of those small aliens teleport in, along with one of those big ones with the electric lobster thing.
Somewhere in that room too theres an icthyosaur poster.

Dammit i still haven't played opfor, or blueshift for that manner... I've been meaning to play the whole series sequentially--like i heard someone mention doing on podcast17--, but i just never get around to doing it... extreme failure.

OpFor is pretty awesome. Blue-Shift not so, but still nice to return to BMRF again.

Opfor was epic. No doubt about it.
I liked the connection between Blue-shift and the original half-life in the first bit of the game. The rest of it was third rate. Still worthwhile to buy and play.
I claim my victory, screenshot coming, just gotta FTP it over to webserver.
Quite a memorable moment in this mod, if you played it, you should remember it.
Opfor was epic. No doubt about it.

You mean that 'beta' elevator that makes the game crash if you enter it normally?
EDIT: Yeah, there's a changelevel in there that will crash the game if entered. I always thought it went to what would have been Uplink in the beta. Mapname is c3a1.
