it you mean making the first person (or avatar) navigation speed to move along more faster, right?Yes. Noclip ? It's like typing sv_cheats 1 and then noclip in the halflife console, if you understand me.
Pool table! Yay!That looks realistic
Is it possible to play with your balls, like in Deus Ex?I'm going to ignore the obvious double entendre in that statement by saying that you can't really 'play' pool, but the balls are physically simulated. You can drop a grenade next to them or shoot them and send them flying.
That looks realisticI hope that's not sarcasm . I'm not too happy with the holes, but making them pitch-black like that was the easiest way I could think of to deal with them.
Yes. Noclip ? It's like typing sv_cheats 1 and then noclip in the halflife console, if you understand me.Oh that....I have seen others do it, but I have not done it personally. The thing about the 3DXplorer.com 3D Java applet, is that it is basically a Java powered chat room, but in full 3D, that's all. It has no type of game engine built in to it, so no games can be played on it.
anybody online can see them in actual 3D without downloading a browser pluginFirefox, IE, Opera, Safari, Chrome and Konqueror all have built in Java WM now?
Yeah...Java is a browser plugin.I am not really preaching Java, just pointing out it's multi-browser, platform and OS's support. I myself don't like Java that much either, I find it to be somewhat resource hungry, thus slowing down the PC. The way I see it, it's just a "necessary evil" that one have to contend with, but at least, it's a manageable one. Hell, a lot of cell phones have Java built in to them, but I suspect it's mostly to play Java games. I think Java is one of those things that you either like it or hate it, no in betweens. It's use it's really a niche thing, it's not for everything or everybody.
That I have permanently disabled.
God I hate Java.
as opposed to say, Flash, which is apparently the most installed software in the world.Okay then, since you brought up Flash, let's talk about that. Now, you did say you have permanently disabled Java on your PC, fine then. That means there is no point asking you to check out that Java 3D scene. So, let's go to plan B then,...Flash. I am going to go out on a limb here and assume you still have Flash enabled on your PC, right Penguinboy? Well if you do, your in luck, Flash can also display full, 3D scenes in real time just like it's Java counterpart can.
