hi, im making a map for sc at the moment, but i think this can be done in hl1 too so ill ask this question here;

is it possible to trigger an event (a multimanager in this case) after a monster has been killed, which was made via monstermaker in the first place?

i have an event in my map... alot of aliens spawn constantly, you kill them... gargantua teleports to you (made by a monstermaker). now what i want to happen is when that gargantua dies another event is triggered with some cinematics and game_texts etc...

what i want to know is, how to trigger this multimanager after the gargantua dies? is this possible?

There should be a field in the monster_maker thats something like 'trigger on monster death' unless I dreamt that. It's been a while :rly:

Otherwise, just have the garg in the map to begin with in a room somewhere outside the main play area. Then have it teleport in using scripted sequences. Then you can just use the TriggerCondition (On Death) and Target fields.

'trigger on monster death' is only in monster_... enitities, not monstermaker.

Im pretty sure there's a way to give created monsters a name (i think theres a field called childrens name). Just in case that helps at all.

Why don't you just create the garg in another room (without a Monstermaker) and teleport him in after the other dudes are dead?
That way you can still get the "on death - blahblahlah" Trigger

i found out theres an entity for this in svencoop called "squad_maker" (advanced version of mm). thanks for the help anyway, this will help out when mapping for other hl1 mods.
